What an awesome chapter. I've missed this so much. Really nice to see something of Lynn, she tended to be the forgotten one at times in Home and Away and its interesting to see a bit of where she comes from. As always your description is awesome. how you get into children's heads amazes me. Where does this understanding come from, it's so realistic to read. old Lizzie is yet another completely believable creation and I really had a lump in my throat at this: The irony! So cute, poor Sally, that was such good writing, so funny. That ties in so well with sally having OCD later in life, the childhood belief that repetition makes her safe. Very effective. I'm so sad I was practically holding my breath at this point to see who Milko chose but this story MAKES me like that, its like loosing yourself in a childhood fantasy. Such effective imagery you create. The flashback to the morning. So much to say about it, you know how well to do Kane and Scott's childhood. Its so effective, your attention to detail. everything is just superb and that life, the effect of it was really powerful. Yes! Yes! Yes! Go Milko! Woohoo! Deefa and Fred stuff, I was laughing so hard imagining Scott talking to them but then when he sent them away into the sea. Poor, poor Kane, I felt so sorry for him. Uh oh, why do I get the feeling that Kane will be bad from now on? Yet another great chapter, I'm so made up you're still going with this. It is still the most effectively written story on these boards and I mean that. Theres very few stories I don't miss updates on but I actually get withdrawal symptoms from this. You know what I think, I say it often enough but I guess it doesn't hurt to keep hearing it. You are one of, if not the best writer on this board. On the left hand side you have a series of options, one is edit my profile and when you open that it asks you a series of questions including location, favourite soap opera, interests etc. Click update your profile and you should have the information visible.

It depends where you are posting. Posts in the Character Appreciation forum, in General Chat and in the games room don't count towards your post count because a lot of members were posting pointless posts to boost their count and the decision was taken to disable post count in those forums. I've had the offsite file message before but I can't remember what the problem was. Double check your post is in the correct format, it tells you in the avatar settings what the formats are, I use jpeg though. Also check you're uploading it from your own webspace or through photoshop or imageshack or something. Let me know if none of that works and I'll have a little think what else the problem could be. Okay this thread was discussed in the interactive thread in the fic forum. Click me to read the topic. The Fanfiction Index in the main forum is now near enough complete and a number of members suggested they would be willing to help do the same for the stories in the Library. In order to do this we need the following things to happen. Task List Tasks being done This task requires this thread. *) We need to work through the list drawing up catalogs (see the thread for information) for every story. This might require reading part of the story to get a gist of genre, characters, ratings etc. I'd suggest that if you are unsure try PMing the author to ask them or checking the comments thread to see if any active members read the story and ask them.(Rosey)- top down *) We need somebody to find and post links for all the stories in the list in this post. (Nicole) *) Categorise fics by genre *) Categorise fics by character (KAT) It'd be great if you could try and use the edit button for multiple posts just so nobody starts complaining about post counts or anything, I could do without the hassle I'd suggest you post saying which stories you are planning to catalog just so we don't get two members doing the same one and then edit your post with the catalog once it is complete. I'll try and keep on top of things by editing the original list, whichever kind person draws it up and posts it can also help with that. - - Once again a huge thank you to those people who have offered to help, its very much appreciated and can I ask that people not actively participating in the tasks don't post in here so we can keep the thread clear of clutter and have a fair idea what's going on.
