  1. I would love it if it were a brain tumour, even though it is crazily overused, only because in true H&A style he'd be cured within the week. And I love him. I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but I wonder if it might be related to the recent kicking-in-the-head-by-an-abused-ten-year-old fiasco. I know Rabbit only appeared after he went into the water, but the pattern of behaviour change started with the trauma of the attack. Also, I am kind of expecting Riley to hop back into it (deliberate allusion to Rabbit!), I have never known H&A to let a beaten child slide yet.
  2. I decided I would just add here as well that I am LOVING everything you write and feel a bit empty now FF and Don't You Forget About Me are ending... I love love love love love your work...don't leave me hanging! Emma (EmmaAHB!) xxxx
  3. I the new skin. It makes me . I promise I won't keep on using emoticons in this way, as I'm sure it's a little but I'm just so to see them again. I like the Tesco star!
  4. I think DB has probably got wind of this storyline by now. It's as good as filmed... Such talent for characterization and plot I have never seen before. I am suitably awestruck.
  5. I don't know what is wrong with me, I almost don't even care that I am doing so badly.
  6. I was up all night again on thursday doing another essay I had left to the last minute so was almost gald of the distraction. but I was very upset when we still weren't back yesterday. Today I have been mostly pretending to revise (I am in denial of the exam I have next Friday) and having a tea break every 15 minutes.
  7. Mwah everyone, glad to be back! xxxxx
  8. It's lovely here too, but I am stuck inside. There are some really quite unattractive men sunbathing outside my window with no shirts on. Put it away lads, no one wants to see it.
  9. Don't be silly, Ryan. Dangerous stranger is clearly a Communist.
  10. I am particularly enjoying that you haven't gone too over the top with this. The storyline could almost have been far-fetched and difficult to believe, but you skillfully avoided that pitfall. Very like the actual show, in fact - your fic is totally grounded in reality. I think maybe you should send this to DB and offer your services to the team.
  11. I love your fic very very much. Please don't leave a poor, penniless, failing student in suspense, don't I have enough trauma in my life as it is? I mean, it's 5:30am and I've been up all night doing a French essay -i t would be too too cruel to end your amazing story here. It might just be the only thing keeping me going at the moment. Good enough? Or more flattery? Perhaps something about your hair? Or, "you should be a scriptwriter?" Because you should, you know.
  12. I love Sleepless in Seattle so much. It makes me cry every single time, but I am a bit of a baby! I watched my favourite film at the weekend, to cheer myself up, Goodbye Lenin. It is an amazing film, especially if you know the history, but even without that it's still a beautiful story of a son's love and a world falling apart. I watch it in German (makes me feel virtuous, like I'm doing work, even though I do know it practically off by heart so I'm not exactly learning anything) but the DVD has subtitles, and the film itself is well worth the effort. Also, when you watch with the subtitles, so you can hear the original dialogue as well, I think you appreciate that the language really is quite beautiful when spoken in a beautiful way. Plus Daniel Bruhl is stunning. Which doesn't hurt.
  13. I think it is 1000 posts Nope I think around 500 is probably right but not completely sure, I don't remember when I first tried to change mine.
  14. Yes Liz, I believe that is it now for summer in Manchester. It was quite funny actually, there is lots of grass outside our Halls (my flatmate calls it "the garden" bless her, I think she might be a bit dim) and we have all been sitting out there while it was hot. Then on Saturday it was all gloomy again and there was just one group of hardcore lads, who sat outside all day, determined that it was still warm, bless them. Then they got the BBQ out. Then it started raining. I laughed.
  15. Bye Cal.
