I will be very shocked if they don't get something this time. Even if it's just one award it's better than nothing.

TV Choice Awards 2010 - PLEASE vote Emmerdale, we best make sure they come away with something this time, saves putting bad reports to the media about the lack of winning for them. NOMINATIONS- Danny Miller (Best Soap Actor) Charlotte Bellamy (Best Soap Actress) Adam Thomas (Best Soap Newcomer) Aaron's Gay Self-loathing (Best Soap Storyline) Emmerdale (Best Soap) http://www.tvchoicemagazine.co.uk/

Has anyone tried writing to any cast recently? Does anyone know any agent/management addresses for any of them? I've written to a few over several months (a couple more than once) to two different publicised addresses and never had any word back from any of them, which is really frustrating, waste of time and the cost of a stamp to be quite honest. All i ask is for a personally signed fan card, it's not too much, if it wasn't for us fans none of them would even be there in the first place so i think the least they can do with their time in the green room is have a little look through their fan mail. I'm after cards of Adam Thomas, Charlotte Bellamy, Danny Miller, James Thornton, John Middleton, Natalie J. Robb, Sian Reeves and Sophie Powles. I paticularly like Laurel and Aaron, my favourites. I even wrote to Paula Wilcox when she was in it and got nothing back and i've been wanting a contact address for her for some time, ever since i got sky and discovered Man About the House in fact, so if anyone can help i'd be most grateful.

Does anyone know where i could find the episode of Emmerdale dated 23rd April 2009? I've looked on you tube, unfortunate but it's not there.

there not real miss tan tan makes them its so obivous at least wit the bebo ones anyways That's quite a childish and pointless comment . I'm quite sure out of all the accounts created, one of them is likely to be him and it's trouble making time wasters who sit around sad enough to make up fake accounts pretending to be actors. His myspace one is real, he confirmed he has a myspace page in UK interviews last year and stated "i think it's pretty obvious which one's mine". And just for reference, "there" is spelt they're, as in they are, just in case you didn't know -

Yeah, Mark added me as a friend, he's on there most days, sometimes there's a gap between days, i'm not entirely sure what he does on it though cause i don't see any changes when i go on it. The Charger page hasn't been accessed since March though. -

Sorry, who is Eduardo Bearo? The name's not familiar if it is meant to be. -
I think it's 4125.

I'm still waitng for several replies from Mark and i've written to Indiana once and got nothing back as yet, so my advice is don't hold your breath, i'm not anymore. I've not even had anything back from Kate Ritchie, so to me, that is bad, she would be an inspiration to the rest of them otherwise. It's the older ones that seem to have more manners, Cornelia Frances, Lyn Collingwood and Lynne McGranger. I'm quite annoyed with the amount of people i've written to and the amount of replies i'm actually still waiting for. My Home and Away autographs so far include: Zac Drayson (Will) personally signed Sam Atwell (Kane) personally signed with a letter on the back Mark Furze (Ric) a photo from 2005, personally signed, but i've written to him again since then for an updated fan card that i saw a pic of. Ben Unwin (Jesse) personally signed Cornelia Frances (Morag) personally signed Jessica Tovey (Belle) personally signed with a personally hand written letter enclosed proving she had actually read my letter, known due to the contents of her reply. Sharni Vinson (Cassie) personally signed also with a personal letter. I've long since been waiting for replies from: Chris Hemsworth (Kim) although i'm aware i can forget about him now Mark Furze (Ric) Indiana Evans (Matilda) Kate Ritchie (Sally)
-
She's normally quite quick in replying, very loyal to fans, but i suppose like everyone else, it depends how busy she is, i think they do things like fan mail between filming scenes.
-
Not long i don't think, she's very reliable, i had something back from her in no time at all, she's very loyal and loves her fans, appreciates them. The ones that seem to be a worry who i've written to in recent months are Mark Furze (more than once), Chris Hemsworth (can forget him now), Kate Ritchie and Indiana Evans. I wrote to Sharni Vinson and got a reply fairly quickly, same with Cornelia Frances.

I'm so shocked, i can't believe it, i saw her at the Logies when i downloaded it, she looked so well and she had so much going on, it's so unfair that she was so cruelly taken away, my auntie died two weeks ago of cancer too, so i can sort of understand. I will always remember her from Home and Away, she was a good actress and i will miss her. She is at peace now, my thoughts are with Rove and her family.

I got a fan card and personally hand written letter from Jessica Tovey today , she answered some of my questions too, she's a nice girl, at least it didn't take her long to reply, unlinke some of her co-stars, whom i've been waiting months to hear something from, and i'm quite shocked by some of them.
-
I wrote to Sharni Vinson last October and i'm still flipping waiting for a reply. I don't think Mark Furze ever replies to his fan mail much either, didn't get a reply to my last letter along with birthday present yet , i know they're busy, but it's only manners, they should remember, they're still normal everyday people and if it wasn't for the people who watch shows they're in, they wouldn't have fans and wouldn't be famous, keeping their feet on the ground is in need of practice i think.

Better late than never, Happy Birthday Indiana -
OMG, that's where i've been writing to, i hope they get sent to the write place in the end. I got a fan card from Cornelia Frances last Friday, sent it on 16th May and it was sent on 13th June, just less than a month for a reply and that was the address i used, so i assume their post is getting to them.
-
I've been waiting ages for anymore fan cards. I got a fan card from Kip Gamblin's Casualty co-star, Georgina Bouzova(Ellen Zitek) on Friday "To Jan, Luv Georgina".
-
Does anyone know how long they are meant to take to reply to fan mail? In my experience, by the time you get a reply from anyone you've forgotten you've even written to them, but it is a nice surprise when you get an envelope and see the 7 Logo on it, or in the British case, open the untitled envelope and pull out a fan card and have a smile on your face for the rest of the day.
-
I ask them for a signed fan card first, then i go on to tell them why i like their character, what i would like to see happen to their character, ask them what their hobbies & interests are & usually just end with, i look forward to hearing from you soon. I type my letters in Microsoft Word, dating them, signing them when they're printed, fold them & put them in a normal size (DL) letter envelope, white or brown, doesn't usually mattter. What's a DL envelope? Does it matter wether it is hand-written or typed do you reckon? It's just a normal sized envelope, if you go looking for some, whoever you ask in the shop will show you what a DL envelope is, they're just the standard letter envelopes. I'm sure it doesn't matter if it's written or typed, i'm sure they get both, that's just my preference, i don't really like my hand writing & want them to think good of me, not that i'm a scruff, . There's some cast i want to win over more than others, , .

OMG & i've just seen that you live in England, that is totally amazing from Chris. Hmm, Sharni, i also wrote to her in October/November last year, no reply as yet . Proves what i said is right, the boys of the Bay are kinder by the looks of things, so sweet.
-
I send a letter (A4 sheet of paper, with my photo copied & pasted on it) in a DL envelope & it costs me 68p per stamp for Australia.
-
Mark Furze (Ric) writes back quickly, well he did to me anyway & i heard that Kate Ritchie (Sally) replies, i'm writing to her soon. Rhys Wakefield (Lucas), Jessica Tovey (Belle) & Amy Matthews (Rachel) all write back as well.
-
I've written to a couple recently, telling them how much i like their character, asking for a signed photo, what i think should happen to their character & how gorgeous & talented Mark Furze is, , & i don't give a dahm what they think, cause he is & i don't mind saying it, no matter what i sound like.

Just too add to this ^ Where did you get the address from to write to the cast? Thanks (Actor's Name) Home and Away C/O Channel Seven Network Mobbs Lane Epping NSW 2121 Sydney Australia I have received 4 autographs in my whole time writing to cast, all personally signed. Zac Drayson (Will Smith), Sam Atwell (Kane Phillips, with a personal letter on the back), Ben Unwin (Jesse McGregor) & Mark Furze (Eric "Ric" Dalby, he only took 3 weeks to reply) I have discovered that the men of the show are often the kindest, as they are the ones that tend to reply. In all the girls i have written to, past & present, i have NEVER received one reply. Although i do hear Kate Ritchie replies to all fans, so i'm going to write to her next. I have written to a few others lately, awaiting response, i'm aware they are very busy people.
