Does anyone know what episode Gypsys hair changed from blonde to red?
-
There's definetly some good ones here Vinnie and Leah and Tom and Pip especially OMG agree with all of these especially since I'm such a big Roo and Frank shipper - I know recast Roo but we need a Frank and Roo 2025 comeback and also I'm a massive Will and Gypsy shipper too so agree with this one - hate they ruined them in 2010 OMG these two were so underrated and this is one definitely that more people need to know about! Agreed!

Story Title: Next Gen Type of story: Medium/Long Main Characters: Leah Patterson Baker,Justin Morgan ,Irene Roberts, Alf Stewart ,Ella Hunter,Summer Rose Turner, Noah Hunter, Abby Fowler,Mackenzie Booth, Levi Fowler + my own character Emma Baker BTTB rating: T Genre: Romance, Drama Does story include spoilers: No Any warnings: N/A Summary : When children of past residents turn up on the door steps of Leah,Alf and Irene follow their lives in the bay where their parents grew up, met or fell in love. "Hello, can I help you?" Marilyn says, greeting a young girl who has just arrived at the Diner. "Is Leah Patterson-Baker here?" the blonde-haired girl asks. "Uh, speaking of her, it looks like she and her husband have just walked in." "Hey Maz." "Hey, Justin. Leah," Marilyn greets the pair, then informs Leah, "This young girl here was just asking for you." She signals for the girl to come over, who had just stepped away for a moment to give Justin and Leah space as they walked in. "Oh my god, Em," Leah says, recognising the girl as soon as she approaches the counter. "It's Emma. Dad is the only one who gets to call me Em these days," Emma tells her, then hugs her. "You know her?" Justin asks as Leah and Emma continue hugging. "Of course I do, she's my niece." "Your niece? Alexi's kid?" "No, not Alexi's kid. She's Peter and Amanda's daughter." "Peter? You mean the guy you had feelings for despite being with his brother," Justin says bitterly. "Yeah, but Aunty Leah and Dad moved past that. You must be Justin; I’ve heard about you from VJ when he came to visit." "Oh, sorry, Justin. This is Emma, and Emma, this is Justin, my husband." "Nice to meet you, Emma. How long are you in town for?" Justin asks. "Not sure. I was kind of hoping I could stay for a while," Emma replies. "Oh, really? Is everything okay at home?" "Yeah, Aunty Leah just thinks Mum and I could use some space away from one another for a while." "Why's that?" Justin inquires. "Justin, that's enough. I trust Emma's judgment. If she thinks she and Amanda need some space, then I understand, and I'm happy to have her stay." "Thanks Aunty Leah." "Of course, but you do have to call your dad and let him know you're here." "I will." "How is your Dad?" "Yeah, he's good—really good, in fact. He's busy, though, between being a senior detective and Mum. That's another reason I think it's a good thing I stay here," Emma tells Leah, giving her an update on Peter. "Coming!" Irene yells as there is a knock on the door at the beach house, walking over to answer it. "Hi, Irene," a nineteen-year-old boy and an eighteen-year-old girl greet her. "Oh my godfather! Noah and Ella Hunter, do your parents know you're here?" "Yeah they do." "Well come on in." "Thanks," Ella replies as she and Noah both bring their bags inside. "So, tell me, what are you guys doing here?" Irene asks as they all sit on the couch. "Well, I've enrolled in uni here," Noah replies. "And my parents enrolled me in Summer Bay High because I want to finish school where they did." "Right, and before you ask, yes, you guys can stay here," Irene tells them both, breathing a sigh of relief. "Dad, you're back! How was Thailand?" Roo says, greeting Alf as she arrives home from work. "It was good." "I'm glad. How's Sally?" Roo asks as a sixteen year old girl walks down the stairs. "Sorry to interrupt Mr Stewart but I am going to head out for a walk. Uh hello." The girl tells Alf and greets Roo. "All good, Summer. By the way, Roo, this is Summer; she's going to be staying with us for a while." "Nice to meet you Summer." "You too Roo." Summer says before heading out for her walk. "So, who is she, Dad?" "She's Cassie's daughter, and she wanted to come to where her mum grew up and met her foster parents," Alf explains. Roo just nods, as she doesn't know who Cassie is.

Home and Away's lack of Returnee Characters
beachside replied to Martin Dibble?'s topic in The Bayside Diner
I don't watch the show currently but my sister and I have had many conversations about how disappointing it is that past characters don't return to the show anymore like I mean last year or whenever Harper and Dana arrived that had the opportunity to make them Steven's kids as same surname and he popped up for a visit but they didn't. Another time that had an opportunity to bring someone back was when Ziggy gave birth and they could of brought Maggie or Ben back to support her but they didn't but like we say they just don't care anymore. -
Nice to see Sal and Jesse hanging out and living together again. Glad Will is supporting Jade! Will and Dani are right clearly Kirsty and Nick are idiots if they don't think they've done something wrong. I am here for these Gypsy and Noah scenes and loved that Noah forgave Gypsy for everything!

Story Title: Happiness Turns To Tragedy Type of story: Short/Medium Fic Main Characters: Leah,Justin,Peter,Amanda,Sally, Brad, Ricky, Brax, VJ, Raffy ,Brody, Irene, Alf, Marilyn,Tori and Christian + my own characters Emma Baker and Sami Armstrong BTTB rating: T Genre: Romance, Drama Does story include spoilers: No Any warnings: N/A Summary : Past residents return to the bay in the lead up to and to help Justin and Leah celebrate their big day but what if after the wedding a tragic accident happens and former residents decide to stick around in the bay and old relationships and friendships are reformed. "Hey Alf." Leah says as Alf enters The Diner. "G'day love. Actually I'm glad you're here I have a surprise for you." "A surprise what is it?" "Mr Stewart would be referring to me." Sally says as she comes in to The Diner. "Oh my god Sal." Leah says running over and hugs her best friend. "It's so good to see you." "You too. I've missed you. Thank you so much for coming." "Aww of course as if I would miss this." Sally tells her friend. "Yeah and she said she didn't want me to go alone so she's my plus one." Alf comments. "Fair enough look Sal I'm due for a break let's go for a walk." Leah replies and Sally nods her head and follows her out. "I cannot wait to have you a part of my big day." Leah tells Sally as they walk along the beach. "And I can't wait to be part of it. Now I've spoken to Lance he and Colleen send their love to you and so do Cassie and Miles." "Well next time you talk to them tell them I say thank you especially Miles it can't be easy for him knowing I am marrying someone else." "It's not but he's happy for you." Sally tells Leah as a fifteen year old girl runs along the beach and approaches the pair. "Hiya Sally." The girl says greeting Sally and Leah is confused about who it is. "Sami oh my god." Sally says and hugs the girl. "You know her?" "She's my." Sally says than pauses. "Long lost ex step daughter." Sami says and her and Sally laugh and Leah's confused as a man approaches. "Ex step daughter? What do you mean?" "Sal was engaged to my Dad." "Yeah she was. Hey Sal. I'm glad you could get a flight." The man says. "Yeah me too. Cassie and Miles are looking after Pippa for me so I'm covered whilst I am here." "That's good. Hey Leah." "Oh my god Brad." Leah says realising who the man is her childhood best friends brother and a dear friend of hers that also happened to date her other best friend. "Yeah it's so good to see you." Brad replies and they hug. "I'm glad you can be here I am sorry Rach can't be." "She is too but she sends all her love to you. By the way Leah this is Sami my foster daughter." "Oh wow. Sami it's nice to meet you." "You too Leah. I've heard a lot about you from my Dad, Aunty Rachel and Sal." "So you guys keep in touch than?" "Yeah we do Sally's the reason I got Sami she helped me with the department." Brad tells her. "And we talked a lot after I left the bay the first time and before Pippa and I headed to America last time we went to Tasmania and I told Brad everything about Pippa we reconnected as friends and that's when I helped him get Sami." Sally adds. "Oh right clearly I've missed a lot. Lets go for a coffee." Leah tells them and they all head to The Diner.

Story Title: Smiling Through The Pain Type of story: Short/Medium Fic Main Characters: Joel, Gypsy, Sally, Flynn, Jade, Duncan, Hayley, Noah + more BTTB rating: T Genre: Romance, Drama Does story include spoilers: No, Any warnings: N/A Summary : Joel Nash returns to the bay after six months away, revealing that he and Natalie have ended their relationship for good. However, he's shocked to learn of the pain the town is going through. Just as Gypsy is adjusting to being a foster mom to a baby and a three-year-old, her dad turns up. Jade is struggling not to revert to her old ways when she had bulimia, but Duncan is there to support her. In addition to helping Gypsy with her foster kids, Flynn and Sally have to adjust to her cancer diagnosis. Hayley gets offered a life-changing opportunity, which means she and Noah have to decide whether or not to leave the bay. "G'day, Alf," Joel says as he walks into the Diner and sees his good mate behind the counter. "Strike me roan, Joel Nash. How are you doing?" "Taking it one day at a time, but doing okay, mate. I was so sorry to hear about Alisa when Gypsy called me." "Thanks mate. You must be doing incredibly well if you're able to fly down here." "Ah, well, I'm actually moving back." "Young Gypsy never said anything. Is Natalie with you?" "That's because she doesn't know. And as for Natalie, no, she isn't. We have actually parted ways for good this time. We realised it was never going to work, and we had just been making it work since the accident." "I'm sorry mate." "Don't be." "Who would have thought it would be so hard to get a three-year-old and a six-month-old baby out the door," Gypsy says to Flynn and Sally as she tries to get her foster kids' things together. "It's crazy, right?" Flynn replies. "You two knew you had to expect this when you decided to foster these little ones," Sally responds. "Yeah, it's still crazy that you and I decided to become co-foster parents even though we aren't together," Gypsy tells Flynn as they all finally head out the door for the diner. "It is but I wouldn't have it any other way," Flynn tells his best friend. "So, when do you and Don head to London?" Noah asks Hayley as they sit at the beach house. "We leave in a couple of days." "You must be so excited for the international launch." "Yeah I am really excited in fact."

awww so cute wonder how rhys would off reacted and don for that matter to the news
-
Never liked them always preferred Roo and Frank
-
Here's my list Carly and Matt - my first OG ship like they are so cute. So happy they got to be each others dates for the cruise but ... Pippa and Tom - what can I say when they recast Pippa it wasnt the same so we don't even count Pippa and Michael as a couple Roo and Frank - never understood why these two broke up offscreen just to bring him back perhaps but shouldnt off happened Will and Gypsy - had the wedding and the show ruined it god damn Rhys and Beth - they were way more suited than him and Shelley Sally and Flynn - each others true loves he shouldnt off died Matilda and Lucas - um way better than her and Ric Jack and Martha - what was the point killing him just write her out in 2009 way better than keeping her for 2010 which was pointless Ziggy and Brody - never understood why they ruined these two honestly

I am loving the release of 1988 I do hope though they release from 1996-2002

beachside replied to Blaxland 89's topic in Character/Actor Discussion
Once Ben came on the scene i always did feel he overshadowed Carly from what I saw in re runs and I would of rather her be with Matt
