She said it to Robert Perez when he was holding her and Duncan in the Stewart House in 1999

Looks like that was Episode 2430 in 1998. I'm missing that particular ep though and can barely remember it. The actress that played the other girl went on to become a co-host on Brucie's Play Your Cards Right in the early 2000s - and it was another of those cases where she was touted as a star of H&A despite only appearing in one episode several years beforehand. They even booked her to appear at the ill-fated OzSoap convention in 2003 as a "H&A cast member", which should have been an early warning sign.

More specifically she had a hip replacement in February, which accounts for this particular on-screen break. She had nine weeks sick leave (though it likely won't equate to nine weeks on-screen).

As promised, with thanks to RR1, all current regulars (save for those mentioned above) have now been updated to the end of June, with new profiles for Robbo, Ryder and Willow. https://www.backtothebay.net/characters/categories/current-australian-characters/ I've also updated Quinn Jackson's profile at the same time to include her latest stint.

Yes, whilst they are branching out further when it comes one-off locations for dramatic storylines, on a day-to-day basis it certainly does seem to be getting a lot more limited to the main beach/surf club area and Station Beach. With the exception of the Morgan House and the odd little bit at the caravan park, scenes outside the houses seem to have dropped off a bit in recent months too. And once again after introducing yet another new school exterior, there's been no actual scenes there since those couple surrounding the explosion/sinkhole (dramatic scenes like that is probably what the budget tends to be saved for). Whilst there were comments on Summer Bay seeming too big sometimes, with all these random built-up places starting to creep in, we're now starting to go too far the other way with Summer Bay just consisting of the main beach, surf club and diner with some exterior stock shots thrown in.

We've started uploading the profile updates for all current regulars up to the end of June, much thanks to Red Ranger 1 once again for providing them. This means that Ash's profile is now complete. It's coming in the next few weeks along with Robbo and Willow. Colby, Jasmine and Dean will be in the next update as they weren't regulars by that point.

Another continuity minefield that one - in the 90s it was at 26 Bailey Street, ten years later it was 6 James Street, then another ten years later in it's final episode it was suddenly at 12 James Street. Depends when you're setting your fanfic I guess ?

Oz have only been showing four eps a week for some time now, so with C5 airing five eps as intended they've been gradually catching up. Come the end of August, C5 will be exactly 3 weeks behind. I imagine either Seven or C5 will do something to put things right again soon enough, whether it's Seven flooding Aussie viewers with a load of triple/quad eps or C5 deciding to pull back.

Yup you're right, it was mentioned on the location page - was a bit of an odd choice considering the timing to say the least ?
-
In the Concord area. Another Inner West location added today - Graham Lynch's House from 1988 (Ailsa's old friend that she stayed with).
-
It went on the to-find list but I can't say I've done any proper searching for it as yet, those sort of middle-of-nowhere places tend to be a bit tricky.

She'd been playing blackjack at the casino (putting her maths skills to use), she later got booted out for counting cards.
-
Yup, it's the current block that's airing in Oz (and split over the weekend because of the shoddy scheduling) that was filmed in that week in January.
-
If they've not aired in Oz already, they should be in the remaining two eps for the block on Monday/Tuesday (if they made the final cut) ?

Are you making sure to enter something into the normal post window aswell as doing the options in the poll tab?

Roo Stewart - Justine Clarke & Georgie Parker
Dan F replied to RooStewart's topic in Character/Actor Discussion
It's not far off, Deb was main cast for 1758 episodes, and Georgie is at 1720 episodes. -
Around 120 new episode summaries for 1990 have been uploaded to the site over the past week, with only a handful more to go before that season is complete. Continued thanks to RR1 and Jeremai who've been quietly beavering away in the background to help fill in numerous gaps in numerous seasons! Also thanks to cadyctslover who provided summaries for Episodes 565, 570, 572 and 573.

In a normal year, 230.

I've switched your Messenger back on from my end. Not everything goes over to the slimmed down mobile theme, so that's obviously one of them.
-
Try Account and see if Messages is in there. It's different on phones to on computers.

If you click on your name at the top right of the forum to bring up the dropdown menu, you should see Messages. Click on that and it will ask if you want to re-enable it.

Though to mirror the discussion from another thread, they did tend to get a little sloppy with keeping the small country town feel in general when it comes to framing shots - this school for example was bang in the middle of a high-tech industrial area, and there'd often be big fancy buildings visible in the background during scenes on the footy field etc. which would never be in Summer Bay. Example below: The same happened to an extent with Collaroy, with the high-rises/built up area along the main stretch of Collaroy Beach often being visible in the background of shots (though the bait shop and diner locations were fine in themselves). It's funny, all the miles I've covered going around the Northern Beaches on Streetview (and in reality before that) whilst location hunting, I've found some nice little enclaves with modest houses which I think would look perfect if they ever wanted the old Summer Bay feel for any reason. Not so much the sparseness of 80s Kenthurst mind, but more the residential streets they used in 90s when the kids were doing paper rounds or characters were driving etc. and they used the 'cheaper' area of Palmy (an area which of course has become a bit fancier now).
