The burger phone is readily available online, there was a huge resurgence in popularity after the film Juno came out.
-
It seemingly perished in the fire in early 2010 and was never replaced. The burger phone went the same way until it returned last year.

Much appreciated. Obviously it's QA who's put in all the physical miles in the last 6 years whilst I direct from my desk, so a lot of the props have to go to her. Though that's not to say the tracking down of them is the easy part by any means... it can take years to find some of them and I dread to think how many 'virtual' miles have been put in Another slightly more recent location today (though saying that, it's been over 8 years...), the venue of Peter & Amanda's Wedding. http://www.backtothebay.net/locations/

Presuming your Notification settings are set up correctly (to quote the immortal words - "have you tried turning them off and on again?"), I know there is an issue with notifications coming through from the Spoiler forum, so it's possible it also applies to the Australian forum. It's something Chris is already looking into anyway.

Not at this time there isn't, though we'll obviously take the suggestion on board. We had to categorise the locations as having them in one list had become too overwhelming, so it wasn't an immediate priority to put them back into one list again. Unfortunately it's just one of those things when browsing the web on phones, the site has had a big overhaul to make it more responsive for various devices, but not everything can be perfectly optimised. And yes, good spot on the typo which I've now corrected. There's another new location up today from the Early Years also.

Another more recent location uploaded today - the home of Nicole Franklin's mother Natalie. http://www.backtothebay.net/locations/ I'll try to alternate between early years locations and recent ones.

A few noteworthy things happening on the main site at the moment. The revamp of the Locations section is now complete, with higher quality images added for all locations, with quite a lot of new ones included too. There's also been a huge update to the Surf Club page detailing it's history, as well as the addition of 2 new locations — Hogans General Store, which has a very interesting story behind it, and today we've got the Franklin House (thanks to QA for taking the pics for us). There's also plenty more to come, and as ever all Locations can be discussed at length with others in this thread. We've also had a number of news articles recently detailing the latest developments both on and off screen (some of which contain spoilers) with more to come very soon, so be sure to check back regularly or sign up to our newsletter on the main page. A big thanks to our newest recruit Matt who's been helping out a lot with these. Remember if you're in the UK you can get a sneak peek at what's to come on this page, which lists all episode synopses to come for the next few months, with extended summaries available for the week ahead. We're starting work behind the scenes on a few other tweaks to the episodes section too. Lastly but by no means least, we've 2 new guest character profiles today also, kindly provided by RR1.

That's incorrect, she was born in 1963 (which is also what it says on her Wiki incidentally so I presume you got 1954 from her IMDB). Plus the pics are a fair few years old now anyway
-
I'll put this here for those who are interested as not many people read the Updates thread... The Locations section revamp is now finally complete, with new better quality images now uploaded for all locations - there's also the odd new image along the way and a large number of 'as seen on screen' images added for those locations which didn't have any. The Summer Bay Surf Club page has also had a long-needed update with new images and a full history added. And to celebrate we've also now got a brand new page for the Hogan's General Store which is very enlightening

It's actually by St Leonards again - you must be a fan

Figured I'd merge and repurpose a couple of old threads to just use as discussion of Channel 5's transmission of the show (if there's any repeated eps during any breaks then they'll get their own threads). Anyway, sorry to be the bearer of bad news - but there'll be another long break this Christmas: http://www.backtothebay.net/news/2015/11/16/channel-5-xmas-break-2015/

It should be there, I've just checked and it's visible on my iPad. It could be the case that your iPad still has elements of the forum cached from before the update - usually on a PC it's just a case of doing a hard refresh, as explained for that similar problem I mentioned in the forum update post. But for Safari on iOS I think the only option is clearing the whole cache via Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. Though that does have the drawback of also clearing all cookies as well, so you'll have to log back in to all websites.

That's only in this part of the forum, I think we switched it on a couple of years ago when there might have been some issues with the registration process and wanted people to let us know
-
There should be an icon in the toolbar that looks like an eye - click that and it should bring up the box that you can type into.
-
If they're being inserted the usual way, by getting the image URL and inputting it via the dialog box at the bottom right of the post window, I can't see why they'd be doing that. The board did have a software update over the weekend which had a lot of changes for the technology in the post window, so it might be the case that it was a glitch that could have been corrected. Can you let us know if it happens again next time you post them, possibly before you edit them to re-add them so we can take a look?
-
My original answer is still there amongst all the posts you've just removed - Episode 2378. And it was explained at the time, over a year ago, that they weren't laughing at you personally.
-
Could you give it another try now that the forum software has been updated? I know there was a few issues with viewing profiles which hadn't been active for some time, which seems to have been fixed, so I'm not sure if that will have also fixed the editing issue.
-
The eagle-eyed amongst you may have noticed a couple of changes over the weekend. There has been an update to the forum software which has introduced a couple of new features and hopefully fixed a couple of issues. Activity Stream The main difference is the new Activity Stream, reached by clicking the 'Activity' tab at the top of the forum, and this replaces former features such as 'View New Content' and 'Followed Content' etc. On clicking on the tab, it will default to the 'All Activity' stream which simply lists all new posts in descending order. The other options along the top will allow you to view only 'Unread Content' or replies in topics that you started etc. Clicking on 'My Activity Streams' is where the new system comes into its own, where it will allow you to create your own custom stream. Say for example you wanted to view all new posts since your last visit, but only in the Spoiler section. Creating a new stream and altering the options under the Content Types will allow you to do this - and this custom stream can then be saved as your default by clicking the circle next to the stream title, making it accessible via the link at the top right of the forum index which currently takes you to 'Unread Content' Posting There's been a number of improvements with posting too, with a few behind the scenes tweaks which should hopefully speed things up and also improve things for mobile users. If you want to quote part of another person's post, you can now highlight the section you want and a popup will allow you to quote only that text, meaning you no longer have to quote the whole post and edit it down. When pasting text from another source, it will now give you the option of removing formatting via a popup rather than having to find the old 'Paste Plain Text' button Quote boxes and spoiler boxes can now be dragged and moved whilst creating a post. As a sidenote, if anyone happens to have any issues with the buttons in the posting toolbar being mixed up (i.e. having to press the add link icon to add an emoticon), this is just a remnant from an old stylesheet that may still be cached in your browser. Please try performing a couple of hard refreshes by pressing CTRL+F5 in your browser, which should hopefully fix it. Notifications There is also a new feature that allows forum notifications to be flagged up in your browser, so even if you're not currently browsing the site you will get a notification of a new PM/reply to a post etc. This all depends on your browser and you may get a permission popup asking if you wish for this to be activated, but obviously it's down to personal preference if you use it or not. As before, you can alter what events you receive Notifications for in your account settings. New BTTB Logo As some of you may have spotted, we've also debuted a new BTTB logo on the forum and main site. The previous font has been used on and off for over 10 years, with the logo for around 7 years, so I thought it was time we freshened things up alongside the ongoing site revamp. Hopefully long-term fans will recognise the influence, and if not it may become clear next year if you're an Early Years viewer. If you do have any problems or are unsure on things, please continue to use the 'Technical Issues' thread so we can keep track of things all in one place

With thanks to Red Ranger 1 again, all current character profiles have been updated to the end of June 2015 - with Sasha, Spencer, Brax and Jett's profiles having been completed for the moment. There's also a new profile for Kat Chapman which has been added today.

Sorry for the lack of response, I've been on holiday for a couple of weeks and Chris has evidently been busier than expected. The passwords will have to be re-entered manually on any new device and there isn't a way to save the preference on a 'per account' basis. Unfortunately the need to enter the passwords again after a week is apparently by design and part of the forum software now, and we don't have the ability to change it. Chris may be able to explain further once he gets online.

A few more guest character profiles uploaded today, along with a number of other profiles over the past few weeks http://www.backtothebay.net/characters/

Have just replied to your PM.

Though it's interesting to note that they constructed a facade around the front of the real house for scenes shown this year. This was presumably to facilitate the... ...but it also extends it out slightly further to the right, making the inconsistency with the set that we note on the Location page a little less obvious.

Ada's now overtaken Norman Coburn
