  1. Some stumpers there. As far as I know, H&A's deal with Mushroom gives them the opportunity to use songs from any of their independent artists, sometimes before the songs have even been released - perhaps some of those songs actually never got a full release, or an extremely limited one which went under the radar. Of course there's also the possibility of stock library music, but that does tend to be more instrumentals than songs. Darn, thought I had that ep but doesn't seem I do. Don't suppose you know of any other uses of it offhand?
  2. I knew those exact ones would come up due to Wikipedia. Neville did come up in discussion and both RR1 and I went back to double check, and Floss stated that Nev had died "a couple of years back". I know the Wiki entry for Nev does say four years but there's no evidence to support it (as with a lot of the claims on there). We didn't include Tom, as it wasn't actually confirmed that he was dead, just implied. Same goes for Dodge in that he was 'presumed' dead but never confirmed. We knew someone would mention the immigrants, again because of the inclusion on the wiki page, but we did feel that it'd probably be starting to get a bit too obscure.
  3. The revamp and update of the BMD pages are now complete, with a whopper of a page for all the Deaths in and out of Summer Bay over the past 26 years (though it may surprise you how little of them were actually main cast). I may have inadvertently gone a bit Memento Mori and made it the most macabre page on the site with all the pictures, but there we go! We will endeavour to update all the pages on a regular basis in future to reflect developments in the storylines (at UK pace) - and of course with any other additions that we remember from days gone by, or that you guys mention in here. Enjoy
  4. Can I just remind people that this part of the forum is spoiler-free - I've had to edit several posts in the past few pages that mention
  5. Speaking of Neighbours, anyone notice Brett Blewitt (Brett Stark) as 'Doubting Thomas' in the Surf Club on Wednesday?
  6. When people say that 1994 is one of those 'lost' years it's easy to see why - the main things that are always remembered first are births, marriages and deaths - and 1994 didn't have any of them!
  7. I'm yet to find an actual reference on-screen as to whether they did marry, but they may well be added in the future if one can be found (same with the birth of their child). There was the line from Carly in 2000 where she talked about people marrying three times these days then apologised to Pippa as she realised what she said, but then she's always been credited as Ross so it leaves it all quite vague. The thing that surprises me too is actually how few births & marriages there have been over the years, there seems to be a good chunk of time between them in the early years. That line does seem to be the only time that it's hinted towards, but as you say, very vague and certainly not confirmation. I've got to get through the 1999 eps at some point, so if it's there, I'll find it. Yes as a viewer of the early years it's strange to think that the next wedding will be Shane & Angel's....
  8. I'm yet to find an actual reference on-screen as to whether they did marry, but they may well be added in the future if one can be found (same with the birth of their child).
  9. Our Marriages page has now been updated, along with additional lists for Engagements and Other Off-Screen Marriages. I must stress that the 'Other Off-Screen Marriages' list was very much a last second addition this afternoon, to solve a couple of problems with the more vague marriages that we found out about later down the line, so is very much a work in progress which may see later updates. Again we've spent a long time on the lists so we do hope they're accurate and pretty much complete, but we do welcome any queries about ones that might have been overlooked
  10. Oh ye of little faith.... I've got both additions added and they'll be uploaded in the next update. This is the smallest of the 3 lists as well, so I imagine this thread will go into overdrive when the other two are uploaded - particularly the deaths which is over 3x the size!
  11. Thanks Dan. Yeah, it was a nice little scene with Don, June, Sam & Seb. I think it was when June was trying to change the curtains/rearrange the furniture in Don's house. Then Don got a call with the news, then they try and work out how Sam & Seb were related to Rebecca's son. It's a shame Sam didn't stick around at the time as it was a lovely little family unit. Oh yes of course, I forgot it was in the furniture change scenes, though there's no mention of the baby's sex in that ep. I'll check out the eps following it at some point. Cheers for the reminder!
  12. No Tasha already knew Robbie wasn't the father due to the timing of the pregnancy. When Jonah later revealed he was sterile to Martha, he said he was also drugged and didn't have a clue who raped her that night. But with Robbie & Tasha already being long gone, they thought it best not drag it up again.
  13. Travis & Rebecca did actually pop in my mind as I was uploading yesterday, as I know in a cut scene from Episode 4000 that Barbara told Don that Rebecca was "pregnant again", but wasn't sure whenabouts to start looking. So yup, next update hopefully. There does get a point where you've been staring at the list for so long that your mind goes blank, so mentions of any obvious omissions where there was definite onscreen mentions are appreciated. Yes Colin was born in the same episode as Olivia - there was a scene where Don came into the diner to talk about the new baby boy, when the others were talking about the new baby girl, which led to some confusion before he mentioned Angel's name. The picture we used was actually one presented by Marilyn showing them with baby Colin (even if we the viewers know that it was likely an old photo of them with baby Shane ) Edit: I've now split this off into it's own thread as I imagine it's a one that people will come back to at various intervals with any updates/omissions
  14. I can't remember his age offhand, but Dani had finished school a few weeks before the end of the 2002 season, with Scott arriving at the beginning of 2003.
  15. As promised the Births, Marriages and Deaths pages are now getting a much needed update and revamp. The original plan was to update them alongside the 6000 Episodes feature, but it's taken a heck of a lot longer then we expected (as any staff member witness to the discussions between RR1 and myself will attest to!). We're now there though and there's much more info than before. First up is the Births page, which also now includes the off-screen births that we heard of at the time, and those pregnancies that didn't go to full-term.
  16. I've moved the ongoing discussion of Character Birthdays into the
  17. As the show airs it's 6000th episode today, there's a small feature on the site taking a look back at the other thousand-milestone episodes 6000 Episodes I'll also be revamping and updating our (badly out of date) vital stats pages - the Births, Marriages and Deaths - at some point in the coming weeks.
  18. Whilst the episodes can be discussed, providing any links to watch or download the episodes are against our forum rules I'm afraid.
  19. Sam may well have been out before then, Pippa mentioned Sandra back in 2000 and how she'd had to change her name so her father couldn't find her when he was released.
  20. That would be Gary Samuels - http://www.backtothebay.net/characters/samuels_gary.shtml
  21. Visiting Colleen in the US, she'll be back in a couple of weeks.
  22. You're right, Ailsa does say it to Robert in Episode 2720 "If Duncan ever needs to know about prison, I'll tell him alright. Because I probably know as much about it as you do. I was in there for a very long time Robert. I killed someone. And I promise you, if you hurt my son I won't hesitate to do it again" I also checked the old H&A Uncut site and they don't mention that scene being cut in the ITV showing (though they do mention the knife scene) so I guess it made it intact. Had a quick look for the eps you watched though and I think I may have solved it - if it's the same ones I just checked then 2720 is actually missing and it's a mislabelled 2721
  23. I think the majority of the links were Pippa with 1 or 2 from Donald, don't remember anyone else. That's an interesting one - I have a non-ITV copy of the episode so I'll check when I get a moment.
  24. It really is a great ep for music, always loved the diving one, very haunting. And yes they'll more than likely be Perjanik compositions. Certainly going to feel like a different era now that we're moving away from the original style of titles.
  25. It was ITV repeating a few storylines as specially edited specials with intros from the characters. From memory they did: Sophie giving birth to Tamara The Summer Bay Musical Adam's House Fire with Sam trapped Christmas 1994 (Irene as Santa) Shane & Angel The Love Story (a different format with Dieter & Melissa presenting clips) Shane & Angel's Wedding The Bushfire The Flood Pretty certain they were only aired in the UK but I might be wrong.
