No she doesn't, but when she arrives as a regular it's only 7 weeks to the end of the season anyway, and of course there was another complete overhaul of the titles at the beginning of 1994.

A nice shiny new thread for the 1993 season which starts on 7TWO on Monday. It's a huge season for the show with arguably some of the most memorable and emotional episodes of all time. Well once again we've reached another season finale! I'll be opening a 1993 thread shortly, and in the meantime we'd really appreciate your thoughts on the 1992 Season as a whole (which I hope will prove more popular than the 2 responses we got in the 1991 thread )

Ha, I noticed that the other day too - took a moment for my mind to register it, and then rewound to make sure I'd read it right Rarely see that high an angle on that wall, so just shows that there's always something new to find in the old eps. Sadly I'm several months behind so don't really want to drag discussions back that far, but just have to say that it's been great to actually see the Meg & Blake storyline in full. Obviously like many I've seen her 2 death episodes dozens of times, with them having been released on video - and I've had the episodes starting from their weekend away up to her final 'ghost' appearance for a fair few years too (which incidentally is where I'm now up to), but I never really saw the beginnings of it. It's only seeing it in full that you appreciate how moving it actually was (even if they did go around in circles with Julia a few times).

Tuesday 20th May Episode 5749 (2013) John understands why Jett broke up with Nina. Dex faces the board with unexpected results. Tamara's suspicious that Kyle is to blame for the Braxton disharmony. Adam tells Ricky it's time to dump Brax Wednesday 21st May Episode 5766 (2013) Charlie returns to Brax as he fights for his life. Adam attempts to finish Brax off. Dex worries about being average. Bianca makes a public statement to defend Zac. Thursday 22nd May Episode 5848 (2013) The day of Brax's sentencing has arrived, and tensions in the court threaten to erupt. Andy reveals to Josh that Brax killed their father, and he has payback in mind. Marilyn has a feeling that something bad may happen. Friday 23rd May Episode 5917 (2014) Brax is out of gaol and arrives home to find things have changed since he left. Not watching the episode but just had a look on Twitter, bizarre to see people describing a 2011 episode as "old school" and "soooo old"

It's think it's obvious that the actual 'classic' episodes shown were just a one-off for H&A's 25th, and I presume they would have had to buy the rights individually, so we shouldn't expect to see those again with every break. However they still have a back catalogue of 14 years to choose from mid-2000, and with a little imagination and knowledge of the show they could actually put some great storylines on there. I did offer my assistance a few years back if they wanted any ideas for themes, but they didn't take me up on it.

Thanks Dan. That's interesting that it's a torn paper effect. I always thought the shapes were still from the letters like the original style but rather than a cut out they were in between the edges of the letters, so Pippa & Michael were in the top of the H, Sally & Fin somewhere between the m & e and Alf & Ailsa were in the o. It is a tricky one to interpret and different people will see them differently, but now you've said it I can definitely see what you mean - basically an inversion of the previous style, which I was so used to staring at with all the other titles I've edited recently that I didn't spot it and saw them as more random cutouts . The edges of the letters have definitely had a 'torn' effect added to them though, as the original font is smooth other than the brush strokes at the end.

I didn't actually remember them ever sleeping together. I remember them having a brief relationship and going out on at least one date, but I didn't remember it going any further than that. The above note from the script producer must prove otherwise, but I could have sworn that it went no further. I seem to remember a scene of Alf and Maureen wandering about in dressing gowns at some point. Yes Maureen stepped out the door of the diner in her dressing gown to get the paper just as Colleen arrived, and Colleen was rather appalled that Maureen would flaunt herself like that. She just kindly explained to Colleen that whilst she was her mother, she wasn't brought up by her, so she had to accept they were different. There wasn't any doubt at the time as to what was going on, Seb felt rather awkward with them acting like a couple of teenagers around the apartment. There was quite an amusing conversation between them a couple of weeks later in front of Rhys, which pretty much confirmed things too: Rhys: How's life treating you at Alf's Mo: I'm being spoilt rotten and I love it Colleen: (nervously) That Seb's a lovely boy isn't he, giving up his bed for you... Mo: I'm sure he would have if I'd asked Colleen: Don't tell me Alf's given up his bed... (silence) Colleen: (whispering) Oh Maureen you could at least pretend! Mo: I'm afraid I'm not much good at pretending

Only 2 posts since it was last mentioned - 6 months goes too quickly - but over the past 10 days we've once again completed our twice-yearly updates for all current characters that have profiles on the site, taking them up to the end of the 2013 season.
