Well I think it's because of copyright rules-that's why. They must be told to stop showing H&A episodes. That maybe the reason, thanks but what I find odd is that Neighbours has also suddenly stopped being shown on their youtube channel It's all their full length shows that they've removed from Youtube - as I said in my previous reply, it has nothing to do with copyright as they ran the Youtube channels themselves.

I expect that the agreement to show long-form programmes has just come to an end and Channel 5 want people to use their own website, rather then having to share revenue with Youtube. Channel 4 also did the same thing at the beginning of the year. Ultimately only they can answer that though. Since they forgot that it was the school hall named after him, not the library I'm not sure when/if it was mentioned on screen, but the first I heard of it was when they started using the new exterior location for the school last year and had signs put up for the Stewart Hall and Donald Fisher Library. Though if you ask anyone, they'll just be able to say they were 'renamed following the rebuild' to cover the mistake anyway.

Irene works part time at both the Diner and the store for a long time. Around late 95 she stops working at the store though there is no mention of this onscreen. Presumably to do with Ailsa's storyline and so Irene was needed more at the Diner. Not sure if it was around that storyline. From memory she just stops appearing at the store like the writers forgot she worked there. Unless my memory is wrong. Perhaps DanF could shed some light? Not offhand I'm afraid, it's got me thinking though.

We're clueless as well, there wasn't anything particularly exciting in the episode that day. Before then I believe the busiest day was the stalker reveal in 2005.

It's all about the money - viewing figures are lower in August during our school summer holidays, so instead of taking a two-month break over Christmas (like Oz), they split it up into two one-month breaks and have one of them at a more financially viable period.

Yes the Christmas break is when they have the season finale - that episode airs in the UK this coming Friday.

Break in Aus? They had their annual break over Christmas which lasted from 27th November to 27th January, shouldn't be another one now until November.

It's something I've just tried tinkering with but still not much joy, it was set to only show posts from the past year which I've now extended, but it's still only coming up with the latest 1000. Can't seem to get back any further at the moment but will try looking into it more.

I've got Maz's date of birth noted down as 25th March 1969, though I imagine they've given various inconsistent dates over the years.

As mentioned in the first post, the forum went online in 2003 with the name AussieSoap, which later became Everysoap. The main BacktotheBay site was launched in January 2004, with the forum being relaunched under the BTTB name in September 2004 (with all existing members moved over to the new one).

There was a brief time around early 2005(?) when there were some problems with the hosting company and being able to get the BTTB domain renewed, (can't remember the finer details though I'm sure Chris would) which led to a vote on a new name for the site - thesurfclub.net was the winner. Whilst the domain was purchased, I think it was all sorted out in the end before a switch had to be made - though I know the forum was temporarily hosted there at one point. The forum was also on the domain 'catchsomesun.org' for a while in 2005 too. The 2005 stalker reveal remained one of the busiest forum days for many years, can't seem to find the stats to show what it is now, but I do remember it being overtaken on a rather random day where not much of note happened.

After taking a trip down the memory lane sewers that was early GC, I was reminded of the fact that one of the very first things I did as a proper Admin was change your username - which in turn started off about half a dozen of the oldies. Yes it's Noah, the stills were from one of Seven's ad campaigns in late 2003, you can see the full version of the banner in the article (which I very nearly set as the forum banner temporarily to mark the occasion). I'm sure one of our golden oldies appreciated seeing him on our frontpage again after all these years
