He was Ric's predecessor at Ray's garage, who had also been bullied by Dom. Ric wanted Wayne to help him bring Dom down, but Wayne didn't want anything to do with it and told him that it was pointless, revealing that Dom was Ray's nephew. Think he was only in that one episode, 4183, not 100% sure though.

The first update (presumably in 1056) sees The 2nd update removes Though technically there's another small change sometime between 970 and 1030 when the purple shape on the shot of the kayakers changes Have those '92 updates ready to go in the credits centre when I can confirm episode numbers of the changes.

Onto a new season - episode summaries for 1992 can be found in our archive if you're after weekly spoilers Some of the key episodes for the year are listed below, I won't put expected dates at the moment as another christmas break could send those out anyway:

It varies greatly throughout the year, but episodes airing this week in Aus were filmed between 11th-22nd February, so around 4½ months currently.

The way I remember it, she was the one who apologised and wanted to stay, but Alf was furious about her ruining his development plans and told her to get out of town. A short while later he and Ailsa decided to give her another chance. He raced to the sea plane to try and talk to her before she left but it had already taken off by the time he got there (cue recycled footage of the seaplane taking off from that time with Angel). Alf was too late and Quinn left wrongly believing that Alf didn't want her. Interesting. Not how I remember it at all and I'm wondering if I got mixed up with the first time she was going to leave.I remember Alf finding her by the bus stop with her bags packed all set to leave, after he'd found out what she'd done, and sort of saying "I know why you did it, we can get past this" and her saying it was too late for them to be a family.I don't recall her even apologising, she went after Steven and told him she'd changed her mind but he refused to back out of making the report public because it affected people he cared about, then I don't think we saw her again until Alf tracked her down.I do find that I either remember things perfectly or don't remember them at all but I do also get these things mixed up sometimes.Maybe in four years time it'll turn up on 7Two and we'll find out... Beau's the closest - Alf found Quinn when he worked it out and she did regret her actions. She didn't have her bags packed at the bus stop though, you may be thinking of her first episode when she was all set to leave and he went after her when he clicked who she could be. She said she was truly sorry, after explaining her initial reasons for coming to the bay, but he simply said "It's a bit late for sorry" and left - there wasn't any talk of her staying or leaving town etc. and that was the last time they spoke. She went to Steven to say goodbye, and it then played out as Beau recalls with Alf and Ailsa talking and agreeing they should give her a second chance. But by that point Quinn was on the seaplane (an almost replica of the Angel scene but not actually recycled footage on this occasion )

Don't worry, both addresses work and end up at the same place

According to our guides her name was Karen Williams, played by Anna Broinowski, and she appeared in Episodes 2234 & 2236.

I think we're up to the end of episode 860 in the 'Early Years' that are currently airing on 7Two. Yup, Monday's episode is 861 which aired on 23rd September 1991. If uninterrupted between now and then, the season finale should air on Friday 12th July.

Of course it also means that Shane Jr turned 17 today.....

It's 17 years today since Michael's death incidentally...

Yes we heard it a few times early into her recovery, as whilst Ailsa was improving she hid every sign of it from Alf - it did get quite dark when we just heard in her head that she going to make his life "a living hell". I think the resolution came about after she and Duncan were taken hostage by Robert Perez, but my memory is a bit sketchy on that - will have to give them another watch at some point. I know Alf walked out on her just beforehand after she simply stood and watched when he was accidentally electrocuted. It was a surprisingly lengthy storyline, lasting over 10 weeks in all.

A couple of you have noticed the new locations for the Braxton and Palmer houses used for the first time today - bit of an end of an era after using the previous ones for the best part of a decade. Palmer House doesn't seem too bad a replacement, though not sure about the Braxton one just yet. In any case they're nice locations in a much quieter spot than the old ones, so should hopefully give the opportunity for interesting new scenes. Also worth noting, as a few of us have commented how Summer Bay seems to be getting huge with them rarely re-using previous houses/streets - these 2 houses are in fact directly opposite the house used as the Gibson House (where Julie and Revhead lived) in 1991. Whilst it obviously won't have been deliberate, it does provide a tiny bit of long term continuity with an 'old Summer Bay' style area

QA's already pointed out politely that this part of the forum runs at Australian pace, simply meaning that only things that have already appeared on screen should be discussed. There's a whole other part of the forum dedicated to discussing spoilers. On the rare occasions that a spoiler should add to the ongoing discussion, they should not only be in Spoiler tags (added by the member, not edited in afterwards by staff), but also be kept to a bare minimum. Carrying on extended discussions within spoiler tags makes the thread look messy and hinders discussion for people who simply want to talk at on-screen pace.

Donald Fisher - Norman Coburn

Not quite the same I know, but a snippet none the less: Yes Joel did kiss Judith in that scene whilst Don was at the Diner, I also remember that ending vividly (though sadly think I'm missing that episode) - you really did feel for him. -
He was jailed in 2006 after being set up by Josh West, and then for 6 weeks on remand (over the 2010/2011 Xmas break) when he was accused of killing Penn.

Donald Fisher - Norman Coburn

We did hear him recite a poem (a voiceover) when she left, which did appear to be written specially for the show - I posted it in that thread from a while back. We also saw him daydream an alternate reality a couple of episodes earlier, when instead of leaving she decided to stay and marry Donald in a small ceremony on the lake where Sally and Flynn married. We saw them celebrate their first wedding anniversary, but soon afterwards things became frayed when Judith wanted to start a family but Donald felt he was too old. The sequence ended with Donald returning home to an empty house with a letter from Judith on the table, before he came back down to earth and we realised he'd imagined the whole thing. -
Yup it's part of the new moderation system, members can see any notes we make for any warnings we have to dish out (which is very rarely thankfully). Members can only see their own points though, no-one elses.

'Throw Your Arms Around Me' by Hunters and Collectors has played a fair few times in the 1991 season, which of course later became more associated with Shane and Angel (used notably when he collapsed and when Angel left) Not a hit, but there's also a certain instrumental track which has been used an awful lot in 1990/1991, which is simply named 'The Bayside Diner' - it was the B-Side for the real life release of 'Living Without Your Love' (which of course has also had a few plays in the background since too)

Judy's last episode was 2838 (the episode where she confessed to Shauna that she was her mother), Nancye first appeared 2 weeks later in 2848, and Judy returned in 2872. Judy was absent for 7 weeks in all.
-
The episode where he returned Olivia (Episode 2663) was indeed his last appearance. We didn't see a huge amount of him compared to Diana as they split up around the time of their first appearance in 1997 (he was having a homosexual affair). I don't have a screencap of him handy, though he was played by Helmut Bakaitis who had played George Morris (Carly's father) in the early years.

There's another batch of Location updates on the way, and to kick us off we have an early years one uploaded today, Barbara Stewart's house.

Bevan's tenure was from the end of May to the Season Finale - he talks about the 2004 stint in his interview and also did a Q&A for us around that time. Given that the Tasha/Ian storyline started in his first week, it's likely Bevan's first episode was 3751
