I've really stopped caring about these two now, though I don't particularly watch it anyway! How many times has Sharon left in the last couple of years? They make a big deal about her leaving, then a couple of months later make a big deal about her coming back! It would be like announcing every time Morag leaves Summer Bay

Dennis and Sharon quit EastEnders BBC News EastEnders actors Nigel Harman and Letitia Dean, who play Dennis Rickman and Sharon Watts, are leaving the soap. Harman, 32, is quitting by "mutual, amicable decision" with producers, an EastEnders spokesman said. He will make his final appearance on the BBC soap at the end of the year, when Dean - a founding cast member - will take an extended break. "We do not know when she will come back, but she will return," the spokesman said. Harman's character Dennis is due to marry his adopted sister Sharon on the BBC One soap later this month. Their wedding will coincide with the discovery of the body of murdered character Den Watts - Dennis' father and Sharon's adoptive father - who was played by Leslie Grantham. The EastEnders spokesman would not reveal the pair's closing storyline, as the two actors leave to concentrate on other roles. Dean, 37, was in EastEnders for a decade from 1985 and has already taken a number of breaks from the show. EastEnders regularly attracted up to 14 million viewers until 2004 but it has recently struggled to match the ratings of its ITV1 rival Coronation Street. Harman and Dean's departure at the end of the year will coincide with that of Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Moon. It comes as previous EastEnders cast members Mike Reid, Barbara Windsor and Ross Kemp are due to return to the soap.

The pics will be ready when they're ready - I'm not going out and wasting a High Definition film on a load of rubbish as it was bloody expensive! What were you planning to do if I didn't have a camera, as you certainly didn't bring one with you....

EastEnders comeback for Mike Reid BBC News Actor Mike Reid is to return to the BBC soap EastEnders in December after three years away from the programme. His character, used car dealer Frank Butcher, will appear in Albert Square for his daughter Janine's murder trial. However, actress Charlie Brooks - who played Janine - will not be returning to the show after quitting last year. Reid left EastEnders in November 2000 after complaining of exhaustion. But he made a brief return in January 2002 for a week-long special set in Spain. He has since reprised his role as Frank in a one-off EastEnders special that saw his character selling cars and running a club in the West Country. Reid's return coincides with that of Barbara Windsor as Peggy Butcher and Ross Kemp as her son, Grant Mitchell. But he will rejoin the show just as Jessie Wallace leaves it after five years as Kat Moon (nee Slater). "He is only back for the duration of the trial, but while he is there his presence ruffles a lot of feathers," said a BBC spokesman. Another addition to the EastEnders cast is actor Matt Di Angelo, who will be joining the show in December as Pat Evans' nephew Deano Wicks.

Well I just got back and I thought the film was fantastic! It was so hilarious and answered a lot of the questions that the original film created - due to the fact that this one actually followed the book!
-
Well the original film wasn't as faithful to the book as this one is meant to be, so that will explain the difference. I like the original but I think I'll like this one more - especially with it being Tim Burton! Him and Dahl were both into that wacky, surreal sort of thing so he's probably the ideal person! Me and my best mate are off to see it on Wednesday! A 19yr old and a 21yr old
