Yes, he had acute compartment syndrome - internal bleeding had caused the pressure to build in his leg to a very dangerous point. There actually has been a death from compartment syndrome on the show before now - Charlie Nicholas back in 2000 (he was the guy that Gypsy had got involved with when they were in a car crash)

Alf & Martha's wedding was 6th February in Oz.

Yup it was definitely announced over today's closing credits, just before the helpline credit squeeze came up ? @H&Alover You've just done it again - a lot of that post refers to the episode that isn't airing on C5 until tomorrow (including the part you insist isn't a spoiler, which would have been in the promo at the end of the 5STAR ep). As you're evidently watching at 5STAR pace now, I would encourage you to please use the dedicated thread to share your thoughts.

I reckon you might have hit the nail on the head there. Still seeing a lot of confusion on social media from C5 viewers - has anyone seen any mention of the change on-air? I caught the ends of both airings on Friday and it made no mention about it, which I thought was pretty poor. As RR1 mentioned, I do hope when this is all over that they manage to slip back into the intended blocks by choosing the date strategically.

@H&Alover Your post appears to include details on both the Channel 5 and 5STAR episodes (as you're aware, this thread is C5 pace only) - I'm not going to go back through the eps and try and cross-reference each sentence of your post, so I've put the whole post in a spoiler tag for now. If you wish to edit it yourself to remove the spoilers then feel free to do so. I did enjoy those Roo/Nikau scenes, they have a good rapport (mainly down to Georgie and Kawakawa I think)

It's been posted on the main site since Wednesday and discussed in the C5 Transmission thread. The show will be airing on Channel 5 on Mondays and Fridays at 13:15. There's no 6pm airing, so if you record it you'll need to make sure it's set to the lunchtime showing. The 5STAR first look eps are also limited to Monday and Friday, in the usual timeslot.

They would have been fully aware of Leah's site following Tommy's murder, so when the owner of said site went missing only two months later, it surely should have been one of their first lines of enquiry (it was said that it had been active since she first went missing). Once again though it's a case of having to show the police as being incompetent (and it only gets worse). I went on a right rant to my mate when that line about Alf's sisters came up... sigh.

The song at the end of the 2019 season finale was 'Caught in the Fire' by Klergy. There's lots of songs in 6580 - the Jessica Mauboy song was 'Home to Me', and the one that Phoebe sang was 'Get Down' by Jess Kent. Not sure about the one that Matt sang, but it could have been one of his band's originals (it was his real-life band Interim that were performing on the show)

Channel 5 respond to cutting Robbo's car crash

The crash was shown in the recap of today's afternoon broadcast as normal... ? Which makes no sense. It aired in the promos, it aired in the recap... but it needs removing from the actual episode? Although very abrupt there was a fade to black, so it wasn't a glitch—someone cut it. The My5 version is also the same. I've made enquries to see if anyone can shed any light.

That was a bit of a mess wasn't it, I didn't understand it either. And will Colby be given a warning for going against strict instructions from his superior I wonder.....? ? Pernickety as it sounds, one part I found unbelievable was that the gunmen didn't hear the racket Colby & Dean (should have) made when they jumped down into the lift - obviously they had the advantage of a solid studio floor, but there's no way it would have been that quiet in reality. They were noisy when they made their escape off the top of the lift, but Phil inexplicably didn't hear that either despite being a matter of feet away... Dennis Hopper would have been onto them like a shot.... Wow, I hadn't checked the broadcast ep, but yes they most certainly did snip it off the end. That's a very recent edit as the UK press preview has it intact. If they haven't randomly added it onto the beginning of tomorrow's ep then that's got to be the most ridiculous censor of recent times.
