Early90sobsessee

I read somewhere that Karen was axed because of Belinda's onset behaviour....what did she do? Did she get on with the rest of the cast? People like Les, Rebekah, Andrew Hill, Tina, Laura and even Sharyn and Nicole seemed to stay in touch and socialise after they left the show (see pic's on Tina's Instagram) but you don't see Belinda in any of these photos. That's obviously not to say they did fall out or that she didn't socialise with her just wondering what the story was with her axing etc

How does she pronounce her name? Is it Sharon? or Share-ring? or Shah-ring? or something else????

Well done for finding a shot of them! I don't know too much about Tom and Pippa's family background. Their house in Sydney, in the Pilot before they moved to the bay, didn't seem that grand and they certainly weren't monied were they. In fact they always had money troubles on the show. So if there was money in the family it either went down another family branch or was lost years before. I love family history so as an adult i'm now finding this detail of the set fascinating. Australian family history is also very interesting because its much newer than UK family history. Its interesting reading about the family history of Alf's family and how they established the town etc which was the focus on the early 00s anniversary episodes. I suppose the pictures were just stuck up by the set department to heighten the family focus the Fletcher's had, with no thought to the background of them which is a shame. A nice touch though

Anyone know who the Victorian looking people are, in the photo's on the Fletcher's wall. I'm watching 1990 but presumably they were up on the wall the whole time that Pippa lived there. They look like her or Tom's ancestor. Were they ever referenced. Sorry I don't have a screen shot of it, at the moment. Hopefully you know what i'm talking about

Hi I was a massive Home and Away fan in the very late 80's early 90's. I know it is not everyone's favourite era but it is quite nostalgic for me. My favourite characters was Sophie, although when I watch old episodes now she was actually quite winey and annoying so I don't know why!! Tuning into returning episodes of the other series (which I also haven't watched since the 90s) ...not sure if I'm allowed to mention that on here, suddenly reminded me how much I loved Sophie back in the day. I think like every other little girl at the time I just wanted to be Sophie. Anyway I'm now attempting to rewatch the early 90s of Home and Away and Im after information on behind the scenes gossip from that time. Especially who was dating who and which co-stars shared apartments together I read an old interview with Justine Clarke which said she was in a relationship with Greg Benson, but they didn't want the press to know about it so he always made sure to be photographed with Amanda Newman Phillips, but another article dated not long after states that Justine is in a relationship with another actor and now Greg is married to Amanda...so what happened there. Did Emily Symons, Sharyn Hodgson, Mat Stevenson, Adam Willits, Julian McMahon (apart from Danni), Belinda Jarret and Les Hill date any of their co-stars And which stars lived with who at the time either romantically or flat sharing It's really hard to find articles and information as it was so long ago!
