I really didn’t like this pairing initially; in fact I think it hated it. The whole concept bugged me and I couldn’t follow the storyline without wanting to strangle both of them for whinging so much. But in the last few of weeks/month and a half they’ve really grown on me. I was a big fan of Jack and Martha but I was honestly sick and tired of hearing his name over and over and over again. In soap time I think Martha spent enough time grieving him. The standard seems to be around 6 months. Leah had feelings for Miles around that time which she would have acted on had it not been for Kirsty, Sally moved on with Brad around that time, so did Hayley with Scott, and by the time Beth’s one year anniversary came around Tony had had a string of one night stands, been with Jazz and was engaged to Rachel. I’m glad Martha didn’t do the whole self destructive thing Aden’s doing, she’s been there already. Anyway, I think the main reason I warmed to Martha/Hugo was probably because Hugo’s grown as a character. Blind Freddy can see he’s hiding something but he’s shown development from not taking responsibility of his brothers and running away every time something goes wrong. I hate to say it but he shown more development as a character in 6 months than Jack showed in 3 years, AND Bernard has always been a fantastic and believable actor. The main reason I like them at the moment though is because they have a positive effect on each other. Hugo also seems to have a big of a edge which matches Martha's not-so-perfect character too. So many of the other characters seem to make each other so miserable and they barely have any fun. If they didn’t explicitly state it I wouldn’t even know they were couples and not just acquaintances and friends because they don’t act like it. Hugo is great with her stubbornness/short fuse and she’s very good with making him take responsibility and helping out with his family. They have FUN- the show needs more of it.

This is not just specific to this thread but several of the most used discussion topics in CAD are being cluttered with spoilers lately and it's extremely unfair for people who don't read them. It takes less than 20 seconds to put spoiler tags in your post, please do so. People can hold and state whatever opinion on whatever characters they want. They don't have to be empathetic or nice about it. Just as when you have your personal opinion on other characters there is no rule saying what you have to think. If someone is having a go at you for liking a character then by all means hit report, but don't berate someone because they're slandering your favourite character. Disagree with them if you have a point, don't force them to share your view on the character.

Given how long Nicole went without sleeping with Geoff, or even pressuring him, because she genuinely loved him I'd say that generally proves the notion that she only wants to get into guys pants wrong. She hasn't tried to sleep with Trey either, bar a few kisses she said herself she didn't want to jump into anything. She's quite a sexual character yes, but her behaviour as a teenager isn't uncommon at all. There's s deeper layer to her as well as other people have analysed. She wants, and needs affection. She was spoilt rotten before she met Roman, with no real parental figure. It wasn't until their bond developed that she settled down and began to show nicer layer to herself. With Roman's accident she's not getting any affection or attention from her Dad, so when Aden grabbed her (yes, HE grabbed HER) it made sense that she'd seek comfort him in. I don't understand why Nicole needs to be slapped for something that Aden had just as much, if not more fault than her in. She didn't sleep with Aden whille she was with anyone so she didn't cheat, and she didn't sleep with Aden while he was with Belle. Just because she doesn't have the puppy dog eyes doesn't mean she wasn't just as vulnerable as he was. He sent her completely mixed signals by saying he didn't want her but then sleeping with her. And for Belle to be the one to slap her, after all the things she's done in relationships...

This one is perfect. <3 Love the colouring. And the style of the split J&M one is great, really creative. Also love the colouring and cropping on the Sarah Lancaster icons too.

D is for delightful and try ta keep your trousers on. I think you should know you're his... I hope that that's the song you got the lyrics from or I'm gonna look stupid. It's a beautiful av all the same. I totally love the cropping. And I love all the lyrics on your current icons- you always outdo yoursef. The 'gap b/w thinking and feeling' one is beautiful too. You make Krystal jealous Jen! How do you get your colouring so perfect every time. The colouring on the Belle one is pretty and has great clarity, and the seonc J&M one () has a pretty cloudy effect on the side. Lovely! <3

The Tammin stuff is beautiful! I love the brown colouring, really brings out the blue in her coat, and the text brushes(?) you're using. They all look fantastic. And this is perfect. I love everything about, especially the little swirl.

Is she going to actually use that name now though? The wedding was lovely, I really liked when she pulled up and Tony started touching her stomach- very cute.

Make It Happen. It's one of those dance movies where you can basically pick the plot in the first 5 minutes but it was so much better than some of the lame ass dance movies that have been floating around lately, and especially because the protagonist in this one can actually act! Not to mention it has burlesque dancingggggg.

It's ok. [spoiler]text here[/spoiler] And while I'm in here might as well say He was such a great character and he was far from being plain or black and white.

No I hate it too... maybe I'm just biast. But eurgh. They have no chemistry whatsoever... he called her awesome tonight. I know the whole don't make an assumption until/unless (just speculating!) it happens but it leaves such a bad taste in the mouth... I would really prefer if they left that one alone, and Martha is such a better character single. The farm has been fantastic, I love her on it and everyone pitching in to help out. So yea my say on Martha and Hugo is a big fat no!
