Amy! I havn't been in here in agggggges. WOW to the last 10 pages, they're all gorgeous. I totally agree with Anaya on the colouring. It's like candy. This my absolute favourite. It makes me miss Cassie & Macca... and Cassie. You know Sharni got the lead in the 3rd Step Up movie? Ok random... I'm just babling coz it came to my head, lol. I love these from the most recent update too. And I LOVE your Drelle icon. There is still drelle love around!

The last split icon is great, the text and colouring looks really good!

Ahh that one is so pretty. The colouring on the lips and the eyes. <3 Dammnit they were cute... what happened? lol just kidding. I love the light colouring on those and the caps are adorable.

I love that one. It has the perfect amount of red and blue and great cropping.

Krystal thinks Jen is ace She thinks that one has gorgeous colouring as usual. & those have stunning central cropping- which doesn't always work on icons but because you're so awesome it just DOES. This one is just wow full stop. Naww and Krystal thinks that's just cute. <3 Krystal also thinks she's talking like Jai in third person

I missed your pretty colouring. I just went through something through 15 pages and saved about that equivalent in icons. I don't think you've ever made a bad icon in your life! I love the first Tessa one from this batch. And the Jon approves one. You've got my approval.

I really like the blur on the Geoff and Nicole signature. It gives it a beautiful dreamy effect and t compliments the colouring. Really Sarah it's gorgeous.

The first three and the last three have really pretty colouring. I especially love the first one of Hugo (so cute <3) Gonna have to save that!

But that did work for Aden which is my point. The counseling sessions they used to rehabilitate him made him realise what he did was wrong, which up until that point as his realisation with the counselor showed, he couldn't see past the pain his father was responsible for him going through. I don't see why someone who has had to suffer through what Aden has, and the resulting behaviour that came out of it shouldn't be shown the leniency he was. I'm not saying he's absolved of responsibility but it had huge significance in explaining why he did what he did. Sending him to jail wouldn't have rehabilitated him, it would have placed him in an environment that would have made him more violent, more aggressive and sent him ten steps in the opposite direction. He wasn't a danger to anyone, (and before you mention Axel I agree that it was ridiculously badly handled, but aside from that and it being before his counseling, he wasn't a danger to anyone) clearly the judge thought that someone who'd been through what he had, as soon as he'd realised the severity and of his actions and what was wrong, wouldn't benefit from being sent to jail and wouldn't help him in any way. If I remember correctly Axel received community service just as Aden did for an attempted assault on Melody. If you were talking about adults then they wouldn't have been treated as leniently, (because of the assumption that young people aren't always in the right frame of mind to form proper intent or because they don't fully comprehend the consequences or gravity of their actions) but the legal system tries its best to rehabilitate children and & young persons rather than sending them to jail and making them worse "criminals" than what they were before they even went in. That's without even considering that as a young person Aden's personal circumstances would have affected his behaviour and mental capacity/pressure to cope if he hadn't properly been taught to deal with the realisation that the one person in the world that was supposed to protect him was the reason he was so hurt.

No they delved into the realms of what continual physical sexual abuse can do to someone's state of mind. The legal system is not supposed to be there to uphold the law above people's welfare and nothing else, it's why they consider individual circumstances. They didn't condone what he did at all, but they accounted for the fact that the suffering he went through made what he attempted understandable to an extent. And instead of punishing him they worked at rehabilitating him which was much more effective after recognising he obviously needed help. If they had of sent him to jail he would have come out ten times worse.

Can I just remind everyone that personal attacks are not acceptable in the character threads- or anywhere on the board. There's a pinned thread at the top of this forum because the problem was particularly relevant to this section of the board. You're more than welcome to argue/debate an issue/topic to your hearts content but as Slade pointed out there is no reason for personal attacks and this is a thread for discussion, not just appreciation or bashing of characters or members.

Jennnnnnnn. Geez how much have I missed? *head desk* As always your colouring is beautiful and I LOVE the way you use text. I've saved heaps from the last billion updates From the most recent though I love 1 & 2. The background text just looks great and the colouring on 3 is incredible.

You're awesome, did you know that? I love the cropping on them all, and I love the colouring on some of the valentines update. You're improving heaps! The Ruby pool table one is def my fave.

Roman also treated Hugo and Charlie 'badly' too. I'm just glad it's all resolved now.

That episode made me I wasn't expecting this to be resolved so quickly but it was and it was really nice. (Go Charlie! ) The discussion in this thread is so nice to read aswell as not many people seem to be jumping to blame on or the other or both. It was a complex situation and it was hard on both of them (and Charlie and Hugo) and they acted understandably in their circumstances albiet not making perfect choices. That's my take anyway. Now hopefully the feelings will just go away and violia. Ending to crap storyline.
