  1. I've merged the thread from the spoilers section with the thread already in this section as it wasn't about spoilers and was more about discussing Sid's character.
  2. Please do not discuss spoilers in this section and if you do happen to mention one within your post then please use spoiler tags. There is a thread for discussing Austin related spoilers here.
  3. I agree Barbara, I would love to see Jazz come back but really there is no reason for it. Both Tony and Miles have moved on with their lives and she has no other ties left in the Bay. Drew leaving kinda scuppered any hope for seeing Jazz in the show long term. And I can't see him coming back anytime soon... not that he was my favourite character so that doesn't particularly devastate me. Maybe Jazz was meant to be one of those characters whose stay was only ever supposed to be 'short and sweet'. She definately served her purpose and despite her attitude and deceitful nature in the beginning she appealed to a lot of viewers.
  4. The Armstrong thing is rather annoying but I guess they aren't going to change her name now, unfortunately Just as long as Harry is a Holden! Yes Harry is adorable...... all 3 or 4 of him!!! I noticed in the credits that there was 3 or 4 actors playing him today! I think thats why he kept his hat on so we couldnt see all the babies were different! I also found it fairly amusing that Rachel should have been in maternity but she was in the usual hospital room with a normal doctor and nurse
  5. Indeed he is!! He was the perfect father to be in todays episode. And he got to the hospital much quicker than the spoilers/scans suggested. You are going to love it!! It seems they had already decided on 'Harry' seeing as there was no debate about it
  6. I pretty much have to agree with Tachel episode of the year!! Everything was done very well and Amy did the childbirth thing amazingly well! Tony was also very supportive and was very cute when he said "We made him Rach" Awwwwww! Though, his grimace when Rachel was pushing for the last time made me laugh!! I don't like Jane creeping around the hospital
  7. No I can't say I've ever seen or ever wanted to watch Buffy. But this is a thread about Charlie and Angelo so it kinda doesn't matter....
  8. That's fine as long as this thread stays on topic. On that note... I am a little confused how my suggestion of 'fun' for Charlie and Angelo is related to her getting an STD? When I mentioned fun I meant actual funny, comedy, lighthearted moments where they are laughing, smiling, joking... that kind of thing.
  9. Can I remind you that this is a thread for discussion about Charlie and Angelo only. If you want to discuss Charlie and Joey then there is a perfectly good thread for that. And if you wish to discuss any other issues relating to the depiction of homosexuality on TV then I'm sure there is an appropriate thread in the General Chat. If there isn't then there's nothing stopping you making one. Back on topic.... I quite like Angelo and Charlie together. Charlie does seem a little reluctant still but that's understandable given Angelo killed Jack. She is bound to be apprehensive about the rest of the town finding out. It would be nice if we could see a bit more of the fun Charlie and Angelo that we saw last year and I hope that will come in time.
  10. Just thought I'd post a link to this thread Looks like an interesting film and Jon is playing a character a lot different from our lovely Tony
  11. Can we keep this thread for discussing Kirsty.... there are other threads for discussing Belle.
  12. That's what I've noticed too, if Rachel and Tony have such great communication in their relationship then why didn't Tony feel comfortable with sharing with feelings, Rachel saw it was getting to a point where it was affecting his daily life. I believe that their relationship has been like this even before Jack's death, but hey thats just my opinion....that's all I say for now at the risk of having my head biten off. You're entitled to say what you think and I might have agreed with you had Tony confided in somebody else. But the fact is, he wanted to cope with it on his own because like he said last night, he didn't want to burden her with it. When the wedding occured he felt he had moved on and maybe when Angelo came back and all his anger came back he was afraid to admit it to Rachel because everything was perfect between them and he didn't want to ruin things. It's not like he confided in somebody else because he trusted them more than Rachel, he didn't talk to anybody. I think the stuff in bold is an excellent point. He kept everything bottled up inside and didn't let anyone in. That was what he felt he needed to do at the time I guess. Whether he should have done that or not is another story but I don't think him not discussing it with Rachel is a reflection on their relationship as a whole. Jack dying has had a huge impact on his personality and in a way he isn't quite the same man Rachel fell in love with, so Rachel did have point. But it's normal for people to change slightly when events happen in their life, whether they be bad or good. I'm sure Tony can get back to being the person he wants to be he and Rachel will get back on track. Their lives will be changing dramatically soon anyway with the addition to the family! As far as their communication goes.... it was good in the beginning but there have been some blips along the way so I don't think it has been fantastic. It can be improved and I would like this incident to bring them closer together and for the writers to write their relationship a little better too. I know they've been through a lot but the whole shutting the other out thing is getting a bit old now.
  13. I also love the friendship between Leah and Rachel. I think all the scenes that have been mentioned I would agree with but there is another one that sticks in my mind. Just before Leah's birthday, Leah was feeling down and Rachel gave her a pep talk, telling her how great, wonderful and adored she is. I though it was really nice and showed how much she respects Leah. I like how when either of them are going through something then usually turn to each other for help and guidance. I also like it when they refer to their relationship 'before the show' as it helps us believe they have knew each other for years, like when Rachel said how she remembers all of Leah's birthdays and commented on how many relatives she has. There have been some amusing moments too like when Leah was telling Rachel and her kiss with Roman, and when he walked in on them talking about him and she dropped the dish of food I'm sure they have been more but I can't remember them offhand. I agree with this. There's no way that Leah (or Tony) would believe she would just up and leave like that. It was blatently manipulated for the storyline and the 'cliffhanger' but the less said about that the better.
  14. Definately not! That thought has never crossed my mind! I don't think they will become the next anything.... although I think they will be due a foster kid or two at some point. But not for a while seeing as they will hopefully have a new baby to look after.
  15. I thought the same thing when I saw that scene. They really do need to get some of these smaller details right. It's this kind of thing that doesn't endear couples to the audience. If I was Rachel at the moment I would be seriously annoyed with Tony. He is barely paying her any attention and it seems like she is making all the effort. It was clear how much she wanted to spend time with him, as any normal wife would, and even though he did say he would postpone the fishing you could see that he wasn't thrilled about it.
  16. I don't think that's been posted before so thanks for the link I think the film is from 2005 so I suspect it was made before he started on H&A. It certainly was an 'interesting' film I won't say anymore because it will spoil it for people.... other than he looked bizarre smoking There are probably quite a few short films that he's been in floating around but I think this is the first one that has appeared on the internet. There is some information about another one that he's in called "Beneath the tides" >> click here << but it doesn't look like the film can be watched anywhere yet.... Apart from various film festivals
  17. Please do not post or discuss spoilers in this section The post I am referring to, and the subsequent posts, have been deleted incase anyone was wondering what I was talking about! Clarification about the Joey/Charlie situation can be found in this thread in the spoiler section.
  18. I don't think his time is up at all and taking him into this new phase of his life with Rachel and the baby gives them a lot of scope to develop his character. Also, the introduction of his extended family in Gina, Hugo, Brendan and Xavier can only aid that. His first few years on the show were fairly poor as his life revolved around Jack, Lucas and Beth. They gave him virtually nothing of his own, apart from a few reminiscences of his wife (to Beth after the spider incident and to Dan after Peter 'died) and the thing with Lucas and his rebellion. And the worst thing they ever did to Tony was get rid of him from the school.... they took away a whole other outlet for storylines. I still hope that someday they give him his job back. Even though I loved Tony's relationship with Beth, Jack and Lucas, I think Beth dying, Lucas leaving and Jack dying has in a way released him from that phase of his life and opened up a whole host of possibilities for future storylines. In reality they can go anywhere they want with him now and I'm looking forward to that very prospect.
  19. Jon's actually 43 now and is 44 on 22nd May Tony was 40 in mid 2006 so he is 42/43 now. But don't bring Jack into the equation or the numbers simply don't add up! I think you are pretty much right about Amy/Rachel so a 13 year-ish age difference is about right between the characters... a year or so more between the actors. EDIT: I forgot to mention... was it just me or did Tony look annoyed at himself for snapping at Rachel? He kinda flicked his head back and then stomped off up the street!
  20. I honestly don't think they thought about the car being Sam's that much... they probably just randomly gave Tony a new car and never thought we'd notice they'd used it before. They do it with a lot of things.... like Tachel's (2nd) bed being used as Hugh's previously It's quite worrying what I notice! Oh and the mismatched lamps too
  21. It's all very nice that Tachel have a new car in time for the baby being born..... but it takes a bit of a shine off it when I think back to where I've seen that car before..... I think they've used a different registration no. though
  22. Like charmed said, I don't see anyone panicking in here..... just discussing the fact that Rachel has had a more trouble free pregnancy than anyone in H&A history. I think that's worthy of discussion and is kinda what the thread is for. And anyway.... if people really wanted to panic they can if they want.
  23. I can only echo what everyone else has been saying..... it was totally out of character for Tony to be such a pain about the Belle thing. I wasn't too bothered about him commenting on the gas bagging as that is what husbands do but the rest of it was a bit annoying. And he didn't put a huge amount of effort into his apology either. What was wrong with saying that he though the day was perfect too instead of just saying "Uh... OK then" The writers got it wrong today I think. However, they got one thing right.... and I think you know what that was I think someone has been working out.....
  24. I really enjoyed Tony and Rachel being part of a group of friends today.... we haven't really seen that whole older group thing since Leah, Dan, Brad and Sally went to drinks with drunk Jazz while Tony was too busy saving Lucas, Geoff and Annie from Bruce Campbell I noticed the wink straight away but it was so subtle I thought it might have been a twitch rather than a wink!
