I think that most people are aware that I am a Tachel fan and I have been before they even got together. Like a lot of people have said in the past, the show needs a strong, mature couple and they are pretty much it at the moment. They are good for each other and they do seem to work. I think their relationship started off being written really well but then the powers that be didn't allow us to get 'involved' in the relationship which caused a lot of people to not 'believe' in it. The engagement was probably slightly rushed and they were getting one episode storylines which didn't help but they have come back a bit more strongly with the episodes since the vasectomy reversal. Also, I think the episodes after the OC showed how much Rachel loved Tony. We knew how much Tony loved her but I think that showed how strong their relationship was even if we hadn't seen much evidence of it. (I will just gloss over the Bridget 'blip' ) As for Tony being timid... I can see your point.. there have been times when it would have been nice if he asserted himself a bit more but I feel that maybe he isn't being given the best 'deal' by the writers at the moment.... or the editors! It does seem that there have been some scenes edited out recently that have made us miss out on some crucial scenes. I could be wrong but in the episode after Joe died, where Tony and Rachel didn't have a scene until the end, it did seem that there was something missing. I think we missed a scene where they went home and had an argument/disagreement after seeing Dane as Tony's conversation in the bar with Alf didn't make a lot of sense. Going back to Tony being timid.... I think that there were a couple of occasions when he was with Beth that he just went along with her instead of making a stance so I don't think it is anything new. A couple of times Beth asked him to support her when he wasn't really sure what she was doing was right but he still supported her. In Martha's words..... "He's a good man..... a caring, loving guy" But yeah AngryHotDad is good too!!

Thank you so much for all the behind the scenes features Dan. It was very interesting to see and read about what really happens when they are filming scenes. I will miss them but I guess you can't hang around Palm Beach forever! Or can you?!

Excellent work Coco! It would have been nice to have seen some of that stuff in the actual show! I especially loved Beth's letter and Tony's interaction with Mattie.

Basically it was a big freeway/motorway that was going to wipe out half of Summer Bay! Why there would be a need to build a big freeway through a small coastal town is another question entirely!

This is a (slightly) belated: Happy 42nd Birthday Jon Sivewright!! Even though it is still the 22nd in the UK it is the 23rd in Australia so technically this is a tad late!

I like it I like the way it seperates the information so it is more easily readable. When the post counts were taken off, the sidebar looked a bit bare but now you can't tell they were ever there.

I thought you might be talking about that somehow! HotDad was sweet though wasn't he?! I am not a fan of Johnny *hides from Tainted Muse* but I liked the Ric/Rocco scene. I have to say that I didn't like it how Ric pushed Mattie to the ground (not cool Ric) but I suppose he saw what he did and left Rocco to see if she was OK.

I'm hoping you are talking about HotDad being all nice and cute but i'm pretty sure you are talking about Ric beating the cr*p out of Rocco?!!! I finally got to see the Tony/Beth bit where he said 'You're the love of my life...' as some of that scene was cut out of the Australian version of the episode that I downloaded, along with a whole Sally/Brad/Ric/etc. scene. I feel complete now!!
