Aww this is so sad Tasha. I can see where Matilda is coming from though, poor thing. I fear that it will be Mattie or Henry, the thing is...how will the other one cope? Mattie would be destroyed if Henry died because of her, and Henry would be guilt ridden if he didn't give up his kidney. It's good to hear about the other fic being fluffy!! I love it. And I was actually thinking of starting a Belle-based fic as well after Plans, and its great to see you're thinking that too! I love the way you've written Belle in this story, and her relationship with Luke. Please update soon, I really want to know how this will end. Belle has to wake up and name her son!

Aww, thanks Jess! I'm so glad you liked it. It's good you liked the Mattie/Henry and then Mattie/Ric scenes, I felt that a lot of interaction between characters became scarce throughout the story and I wanted to have more in the ending chapters. Thanks for reading and commenting

Yeah it was my first fic! You actually got me really liking Lucas/Mattie. I thought they were really good together onscreen and they were so sweet and perfect but there wasn't enough there. It was all too convenient, you really gave them depth. I haven't made up my mind about if Matilda died yet. In a way I do feel she did die because of how dark the story was, but there is always that little part of me that thinks "nahh! he got to her in the end". I can't wait for the next part, good to hear the writer's block is gone

I agree with Jess and Skykat, that was brilliant. Jack and Mattie just seem too unbelievable at first but the way you have written it has been so convincing and their connection is powerful. Like everyone has said, thank you for writing a backstory to your fan fiction one. Loved it!

Okayy!! Well I didn't get started into this fic for a while because you write so quickly (Not that I am complaining!!) and I fell behind. Anyway! I've caught up now and I absolutely adore this fiction. It's so sweet, and there's just a lot of interaction between everyone. I'm glad Martha is pregnant I was worried she would be sick or something, but yay. And Lucas drunk is hilarious, I loved how he kept grinning and was giddy as Matilda led him home, I loved the humor and Matilda's sweet revenge. Wow Jess, that was an incredible, incredible ending. It was perfect for the story in every way. I loved how you included the title, and it was not in a forced way that some stories do, it was just unnerving. I actually believed it was open ended when I read the final passage, which I found even better. I was really wondering if you would fall for the 'happily ever after' ending or the angsty, emotional death. I'm glad it was left open ended because it did have that angsty, tense, depressive feel of the overall story, but there was a way out. Great work! I can't wait to read every else you have up your sleeve. I've read BD and it's great so far. Can't wait for the final *oh no!* of the famous Summer trilogy. You know, Summer of Seduction was the first fan fic I read!

Unconventional...Yeah right! You make it SO right Anna. That was just right. I'm glad you've shed light on the situation a bit more, especially from Jack's point of view. I had a little bit of trouble understanding in your challenge fiction why he would cheat on his wife and be willing to leave his kids. But I can see why him and Martha are wrong, and it was done really well. Just very simplistic/realistic yet deep. Please update soon

Aww no Matilda! Go back with Lucas, he can saaaave you... That was really awesome Jess. I could really feel for Lucas, and I really loved the Samson/Delilah analogy, it fit so well. It's sad that she has completely blocked him out, I can't wait to see what happens in the final chapter. I noticed that 'drunken man' passage...so Lucas has some clue of what happened now? Maybe I'm reading too much into it, and it was meant to be just a broad description. I think it's one of the reasons why I love this writing, it seems to interweve from personal to being distant a lot. It was great ! I'm so sad this story is ending, but I am curious as to how you will end it, as you did say expect anything! You should be proud, this has been such a different and evocative piece of writing Jess.
