I think Marilyn is the best thing that's happened to the show in a long time. Emily is a great actress and can do both comedy and drama very well. I hope she sticks around for a long while to come! I think she will though as Emily is very loyal to the shows she works on.

How I'd love to see them perish Today's papers now are saying no one is safe and a lot of big names will be killed. But after the factory explosion, I wouldnt be surprised if it was just a few glorified extras. It's like Corrie has changed places with H&A this year!
-
I reckon Jack, Molly and mabe Trevor are gonna bite the bullet.
-
Warm and sunny
-
I dont think Corrie, EE or Emmerdale on Monday, but I think they are on tonight?
-
Yeah Emmerdale is barely on anymore and then my mum text me tonight to tell me Eastenders was on but by the time I turned on it was nearly over!
-
Yeah it's almost as silly as your dead daughter coming to visit you and everyone thinks you're insane, then she goes and the whole thing is forgotten about I am always sceptical when TV shows bring people back from the dead, this is definitely not Corrie's style. In fact, it's probably the only show not to have brought someone back!

Vera's ghost is set to make a comeback this year, according to The Sun!
-
Cloudy today but I cant complain as weather has been really nice and I have a lovely tan! And it's supposed to be back up into the high twenties by the weekend.
-
Sunny today, but overcast and humid now. Quite warm though.

i think the red front door of SBH has a different design on the front to that on the back. i think the scene you may be talking about was where Alf was talking to Tachel and the door was closed behind them. on the back the design has two sets of two vertical rectangular panels, like the washroom door. and the front has three horizontal rectangular panels spaced out, one at the top, one at the bottom and one in the middle. That is actually the back door! The front door is out in the hallway, near the stairs but it hasnt been mentioned in years!

I just e mailed the official site about the Summer Bay House rebuild and this is what I got back: Yes they have been talking about it, and I'm not sure what stage they are at, but I will find out next time I go to the studio So, at least we know it hasn't been forgotten about. I really hope they go through with it and we get rid of the supersized caravan park that we now have!!

Now that Martha has gone, what are everyone's best/worst memories of her? I have listed some of mine below: BEST: - Her arrival in the Bay, she was so feisty and headstrong and was introduced during what was one of the biggest H&A eras ever - Her relationship with Ric, Alf and Morag. This was a great time for the Stewarts and Roo was Morag's pet so it was good to see Roo's daughter also being very close to Morag - Her wedding to Jack - Her affair with ash, abortion, poledancing etc - that was probably my favourite Martha storyline and was very controversial! WORST: - Jodi's acting at the beginning. I remember one scene where Martha accidentally shot Ric, it was the worst acting I have ever seen but Jodi definitely got better as the years past - From 2009 to now. Since she got with Hugo I started to despise her. Her neediness, her patheticness, her whole character just disimproved IMO. - This is nothing to do with the character herself but more to do with wardrobe, the length at which her hair grew after her cancer. She was like Rapunzel and it must have been insulting to people with cancer. So, goodbye Martha, it's certainly been an eventful five years.....!!!

I agree, I am not making my mind up yet. This is the show where dead characters live in fridges so I am being optomistic

I just saw a clip on Youtube where Dannii Minogue's character was fighting in the Diner, and called Vicki a bitch. When did they stop saying bitch on the show? I remember Tom sayong "bloody" a lot as well when the show first aired.
-
Anyone remember what kind of relationship Morag had with Barbara? She can't stand Celia or Colleen so just wondering if she likes any of her sisters?
-
Did Dannii Minogue win a Logie for her role as Emma Jackson? I read in a few places that she has, saw her with a Logie in heat magazine but it doesnt list her as a winner anywhere on the TV Week website.

That was one of the places I'd always thought as a possibility - but with them mainly using West Head for Stewarts Point over the years, where you can see the lighthouse in the distance, it pretty much put pay to that one. As much as I love West Head, you do have to question how it's within walking distance for the residents of the bay when it's the other side of Pittwater Was Belle and Aden's wedding on "Stewart's Point"? Yes, and Josie and Jesse's and also where Shane died. It's a beautiful location.
-
I always imagined Stewart's Point to be a remote headland, not Station Beach! It really was silly of them to do that. Then again, I doubt they expect that people like us would analyse every single detail but it makes for bad continuity.
-
Very strange location for Stewart's Point (where we saw Martha on Friday) - it's just the other end of the beach where the Diner is.

I like Leah's house and I love the wallpaper in the living room. I think the new lighting is doing wonders for the realism of the sets. I think it makes the back yard areas of the sets much more realistic. The one set I dont like and that I never really have is the school. I also have issues with the caravan park exterior which I've explained earlier on in this thread.
-
Of course it was on location during the Campbell era, and the replica they made for the studio is indeed impressive. The reason I wasn't sure was because I knew it was on location before. I must say they have done a fantastic job.
-
Is the interior of Martha's house shot on location or in the studio? If it's in the studio then I am really impressed.
-
Thanks for the update Dan, I didn't realise that a new house had been built since the last one burned down.
-
I quite agree with you here, the new loaction they have recently been using for the Caravan park (a real life caravan site) is far too big in size compared to the original, and even subsequent versions. It's far too 'posh' and glamorous for a small seaside caravan park. I think this choice was a mistake and a shows a real lack of continuity to the history and supposed location of the caravan park. I hope if they do rebuild an exterior Summer Bay House set, that, as you say, they make it more in line with what long term viewers think of as the Caravn park, making it smaller, more intimate and less glam. Last year Cameron Walsh said they were supposed to start building the house in January but nothing has been mentioned since. I really do hope they go through with this. I loved the exterior shots of the house and it would be great to have the caravan park back on a long term basis and we might even get to see Colleen's mobile home!
