They did it with Martha and she moved on with Hugo of all people, someone she didn't even know 6 months ago. I thin Aden and Nicole would be an obvious direction to take. They had a deep and loving bond, they also have physical chemistry which they have already acted on, so it would be a perfectly natural and beautiful step I think. Also Nicole is much more Aden's type than Belle I would think - they just look right together. They are both clean cut. Belle is kind of grungy and looked more suited to the Drew type.

Is anyone else loving the Christian and Syed storyline? Also, does anyone know where the drums are gone at the start of the closing credits? It sounds so wrong now that they've cut them out. Why would they do that? The drums on the cliffhanger were legendary!

^ Careful Lynd. I made a similarly innocuous comment before along similar lines and the person I commented on told me they would report me for it (I'm not referring to Grumble Bum btw). It seems that some people like to be bitter and negative and yet if you comment on it they suddenly get self righteous and precious As you can see, the attitude really annoyed me.

Thanks for all your recent updates! I've enjoyed looking at some of the summaries of the really old episodes - takes me back!

I am a massive Angelo fan aswell. I noticed something interesting about him though. When he met May, those early scenes of them chatting in the diner and then the surf club showed us the old charming, cheeky Angelo that we saw when he came into the show first. All the angst since Jack's death has replaced that side of him and I miss it. It was so lovely to see him just be happy and relaxed again and to be able to be himself with her because she was a stranger. I think that he has been fundamentally changed by the experience of accidently killing Jack and all that goes with doing something like that. The change in him is being very well portrayed, and was so well highlighted by his interactions with May.

^ I know! I got all excited when he introduced himself! I was shrieking as if he'd said his name was Mick Jagger or something equally as remarkable. I'm sure he thought I was a lunatic. Paul and O'Brien are two of the most common names in Ireland!
-
^ I work with a guy called Paul O'Brien, but he has nothing to do with Jack Holden Interesting all the same. Thanks for sharing that Emmasi! I love Kevin Spacey so would probably go to see that and after the Jack character appeared I would be itching to get back to the pc to post on here about it, and end up missing the rest of the film! Nice to be prepared now in advance

^ Possibly down to just a teensy little bit of lack of experience on Luke's part. I get what you mean Moya, but I can overlook it because it's Trey I really like his mother's vacant stare around the hospital reception area. To me it highlighted how calm and peaceful it all was and she imagining the carnage on the bus and how frantic the hospital workers would be once bodies started to arrive. She really seemed to be battling with whether or not she should tell people what Trey had done. It was nicely played.

Do you want some of ours? It's rained here now I think every day since late June

It seems to me that the people who claim to hate them the most are the ones always driving the discussions on them! If I hate a character they aren't even on my radar. I FF their scenes, I stay away from threads that discuss them and I try to block out their existance. Why on earth would you prattle on and on and on so much about a character that you hate?
-
^ Yes, I agree with all that. I am really looking foward to the journey this pair will go on, both individually and together.
-
^ I have always really liked Trey. I find him really layered and complex and my heart aches for him and all his struggles in life. Today was so painful seeing how hurt and damaged he is. It's such a tragic storyline, the whole Trey arc.

Oh that's a shame. If you're short on people to help I would be happy to assist in some way to free up people to write the episode guides I really enjoy them every day, and they are also great to read back over.

^^ It's funny when you compare it to Christian on Eastenders who has often been seen getting off with other guys in a 7.30 or 8pm timeslot. Us lot in this part of the world must be considered lost causes if the powers that be feel they don't have to protect us from this "smut".

Once again, thank you for all your work and contributions in the past week (or since I last thanked you!).
-
^ If viewers are hitting the 1million mark, where does that leave H&A who is only marginally better performing. I suppose pulling in 1million weekly is a lot different from pulling in 1.2million five nights a week though...

Not so for Charlie (or May so far as she is aware anyway ). Also I'd say his bosses have found him to be very good in his job since he got back. I love Angelo, but then I am always a campaigner for the underdog - I'm drawn towards them and drawn away from the pitch-fork mob mentality in situations like this.
-
I agree and it has bothered me all along. It left a hole in the storyline I felt that no reference was ever made to Jack's situation in comparison to Angelo's. I would have liked if Tony had tried to reconcile the two situations somehow.

^Interesting about the careful framing as while I was looking at the pictures I was amazed at it's obvious proximity to the harbour landmarks, and yet it had appeared so remote on screen. Thanks for the feature!

I think May could be a great character if she is allowed to develop as one. All the above ideas would give her plenty of scope, i.e. to remain on as a teacher and not just as a pawn in the Changelo story. The writing of her as an over-excitable character reminds me so much of Marilyn and I think May could bring some real humour and amusement to the show, as well as fitting the attractive, young and single template which the show goes for. At the moment the humour is centred largely around Colleen but I could see May adding a fresh humour angle to the show. I don't know what the plans are for her but if she does leave after the Changelo storyline I hope we see her back, and she doesn't end up dying first or anything

I can only assume Foxy is too busy turning 21 to update the episodes today! Quite right too! I wouldn't want to see him doing anything resembling work on this special day. Happy Birthday Foxy

It's great! Thanks Karen, Cal, QA and all concerned.

I hope this isn't true - I quite like AS, although I don't watch it all the time. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/a163741/...all-saints.html
