I wonder if Ricky's request to Casey to keep Brax out of what was going on will ever come out in the wash. I'd almost rather it didn't as it'd cause friction between them. But ow. I wonder if Ricky will remember her request and reflect on it now in the light of all this. I think it was a totally reasonable request but Brax would be devastated if he knew.

Easily my favourite character and favourite Braxton. How I will miss this kid. Amazing young actor in my opinion and a lovely guy. Bye bye our sweet Casey you've been through so, so much for it to end there. Tragic doesn't even come close to that moment and will now be forever associated with this character. My HAA heart has broken and I doubt I'll get too invested ever again.

This was SO good. I am really happy to find some Sid/Dex there's not enough Walker family stories out there. You've inspired me.

I want to give a high five to Charles Cottier for his work as Dex this year. I think he deserves serious recognition and kudos and awards for his portrayal of a brain injured character. 2012 we have seen Dex support his sister, father through the murder of Stu, realize and reconnect with his April love, get into nursing, thrive at the hospital, rent their first place, go through the trauma of a car accident that was in no way his fault, learn to talk, walk and struggle back to normalcy again, He's impressed me SO much. I can't even say. To see all these sides to Dex that Charles has fleshed out. So much more than the comedy of previous years for his character and so impressive. Even with all these twists and turns and hurdles that have been thrown at Dex he's stayed completely true to his character, sweet, thoughtful, selfless and funny and I have been so freaking blown away with Charles's performance. A+ Dexter Walker year for me. I can not WAIT to see him deal with the fallout from this year into 2013.

I so loved Dex today. So desperate to help April and still struggling so hard with what he's going through. I'm getting a bit annoyed with the people surrounding him though with their low estimations I mean the drs said he'd never walk or talk again potentially and now look at the boy? He's come such a long way and I would like his family and April to give him a bit of credit for that I really would. He is such a strong character and I'm so impressed with all the nuances and moments Charles Cottier is putting in to this to make this so believable. It's so obvious how much all this has affected him and he should be so applauded for that. He has brought all kinds of new dimensions to Dexter even whilst keeping the number 1 thing that's lovable about him his big heart. Meep. Love Dex SO much.

I'm going to place an early suggestion that Sasha gets with Kyle. There I said it. I feel that's what might happen.

No words for how much I am adoring Dex right now. He's in such a lot of pain right now and CC is rocking the house with his performance. Love him. Dex has got as Sid said a really long road ahead of him, i just hope real Dex fights his way back from all this. Poor kid.

He is really impressing me with this Dex storyline, nice to see some bonding and evidence of how much he loves his son. The forehead moment absolutely broke me. Rob is blowing this one out of the water. So impressed and i hope we see a lot of father/son moments as Dex struggles through this.

Can we please talk about how ridiculously awesome the fallout from this crash is going to be on our boy Dex. I want to see a bit of personality change as he tries to struggle with his injuries and the fact his good friend did it to him. I want depression and angst. I want to see the Walkers all never take him for granted as the comedian of the family again. I'd like to see lots of Sid/Dex bonding and a hard road back for him, because I think Charles has the acting ability to make this brilliant.

Lincoln was SO good today. Seriously him in tears as Brax held him in the woods was amazing acting. He makes me feel so badly for Case and for the poor kid who constantly tries to do the right thing and gets kicked in the teeth every single time. I'm so impressed by Lincoln i really am. Can't wait to see where he takes Casey next i'm just really worried it's going to be down further more depressing paths.

Case was AMAZING tonight. He put himself in harms way to reason with his brother, his delivery of 'what are you doing Brax?' the way his voice broke, Lincoln was INCREDIBLE as ever. I can not wait to see the next tough months he's going to find caught between his big brother and father figure and his girlfriend, the love of his life. So excited to see what Lincoln does with the material he is so strong.

CASEEEEEEEEEEEEEY! Woohoo. Missed him. However he doesn't seem harsher in any way. Good.

My eyes must have been deceiving me today because I swear I saw Heath look like he actually gave a damn about his little brother today. Clearly he has history in juvie and it was great to see him show a modicum of sadness. I liked him being protective with his whole 'anyone messes with your head I want to know about it' to Casey. Interesting that to Heath being messed with physically means very little but being messed with in the head he clearly worries a lot about. His convo with Brax about Casey having to toughen up or being eaten alive was evidence of this, i'd be intrigued to see what happened to him in juvie and also how he relates to baby brother when he comes out. They'll have more in common than ever then.

I feel like a broken record in this thread but he brought me to tears again, this kid needs the world's biggest hug. Someone just needs to hug him, I vote for Heath because that's the most bizarre occurrence ever. Just...poor Casey. He does lost and vulnerable amazingly!

I just wanted him to give Casey a big brother hug today, my god if anyone is in need of a hug, and I know they're not touchy feely types but for gods sake, your baby brother just practically admits he's so afraid he's suicidal you give him a cuddle boy!

This kid is BREAKING my heart. God there are words for their mother but I can't speak them in a public forum, she uses and abuses her boys and Casey most of all. He's 17 god damn years old, he needs his mom to be there for him, supporting him and telling him it'll be ok and fighting for him and all she does is sabotage his case, take money from him and get him some gift she got for free anyway. Heartless, gutless, disgusting excuse for a mother. I was nearly in tears when he was telling Brax to give the money to her. It's just so many levels of wrong. Lincoln is really really good.

I am excited that Casey finally smacks Heath one, violence seems to be the only thing heath understands sometimes.

Wow, interesting. I definitely find Ruby the more annoying of that pairing although I don't mind them as a couple. Casey's easily becoming my favourite character. Different strokes I guess though.
