Ric's Dad Owen (i think that was his name) was Alf and Viv (The Guv's) son that was given up for adoption. Viv told Alf about him around the time he died, and Alf realised he had a grandson.

You'd think so but i mean look at what they did to poor Joe. He admits killing Pauline (indirectly) then falls out the window and we're supposed to know without anyone saying anything that he's dead. Then in the next episode no one, not even Bert, Dot or Jim even mentions him, like your neighbour falling to his death in the street is a regular occurance. I'd like to know what happened to May, as like i said it's not as if there is any evidence to prove Dawn's story and i'd like to know where Rob went as well. As for Li, she's been really underused. She only seems to pop up once or twice every three weeks which is annoying as i'd love Li and Mickey to become more central to the action and get some big, emotional storylines as well as the funny little ones like they have now. Keep Li!

I miss her too! I can't believe they got rid ogf her and left us with the likes of Dawn, Stacey, Carly and Keith. Also i don't think she should have been arrested as it's not like Dawn (who's a bit thick at the best of times) can prove she did anything wrong. In a way it looks like they've arrested May for giving Dawn presents for the baby! And i'm doubly gutted as i think lovely Li (who i love yet everyone else seems to hate ) might be leaving as well soon. I like Li and Mickey as a couple and was hoping she was here for good. They seem to be getting rid of all the characters i love and keeping all the ones i hate.

Lucy just gets better and better as a character. She's a better actress than Stacey and Carly anyday.

I'd like someone other than Dawn/The Millers to at least ask were May has gone. Sometimes people disappear from the square and no one notices or ever mentions them again (Jake, Ruby, Anthony, Bianca,Sonia, Naomi). For example Jane was May's friend, surely she'd want to know what's happened to her, and Garry and Minty, surely they'd want Naomi to know she can come back now.
-
Unfortunately i've got a feeling that was the last we're going to see of May. I said she was leaving next week, meaning this week, confusing i know. I was kind of hoping May would come out on top as it's not like Dawn can prove anything and she'd just wonder off into the sunset. I hate the fact the writers have decided the likes of Dawn and Stacey are 'viewers favourites' and should get everything their way, as personally i can't stand either of them and i really can't wait until they both leave. It's also a shame, although he was a bit of a creep, that Rob didn't get an exit, we're just supposed to assume he's left after May dumped him and Dawn punched him. I prefer when characters are seen leaving, it's not just indicated (like they did with Sasha a couple of years ago).

May's going next week (i'll miss her craziness) But Li's finally back. Yay.
-
They are back together, but Rob's spineless so he's probably stringing them both along again. I'll be sad when this storyline finishes as it means no more May . Where has Li gone? Mickey keeps getting all this money to buy things for Dawn and to hang around the pub without a job, surely she'd be fed up of it by now but she seems to have disappeared. As a big Li/Mickey fan i really want more syorylines and screentime for them as individual characters and as a couple.
-
^I like that Rob and May got back together, i always thought they made a much better couple. The one person i didn't understand was Garry, pining for Dawn. Yes he's always fancied her but they weren't exactly close yet he's acting like a love sick puppy because she's moved away, yet Naomi, who he lived with for almost two years upped and left and he's not so much as mentioned her. Makes no sense.

No matter what May does i just don't feel sorry for Dawn, she's too annoying and since her sister joined Hollyoaks i just can't take her seriously as an actress as she reminds me too much of how irritating and wooden her sister is. I love May. Amanda Drew is such a brilliant actress, i wish she was staying and Dawn was going. But i guess all good things must come to an end, then your just left with the bad things (Dawn, Stacey, Sean, Carly, Preeti, Bert, Jay, Keith and Peggy )

I really think the show is picking up again now, the only downside being the tedious scenes between Bradley and Stacey (they aren't interesting) and the lesser used characters still not being given much of a chance to show off their potential but apart from that i'm enjoying the show again much more than i have done in a couple of weeks.
-
I'm so bored of any Bradley/Stacey scenes, they are so boring to watch. I wish the writers would give up on these two and move on, no wonder they aren't winning any awards lately as the rest of the cast are ignored in favour of more 'Bracey' nonsense. I loved Dot though last week giving up baby Tomas/George. She's so brilliant at comedy and drama, she's easily the best character in it.
-
I love her, without her the terrible pairing of Rob Dawn would be even worse, she makes the storyline worthwhile. The madder she gets the more i enjoy it. I just wish she'd hurry up and break those two up, they are such an annoying couple.
-
I think Doctors gets the sympathy vote from the panel (whoever they are) as it is really boring and they only have about six characters. I don't think Lacey deserved the award. She's a good actress but there were more deserving winners. She's highly overrated. The only reason she wins all these awards at these shows is because storyline wise, no one else in the cast gets a look in. I agree Corrie and Emmerdale have been better this year i just hate when they win as they are smug winners and sore losers. I think Perry Fenwick (Billy) deserved something and hopefully if she's still in it next year being as mad and bitchy as ever, i'd love Amanda Drew (May) to win best bitch.
-
I'm a bit disappointed with British Soap Awards results, absolutely no one i like won anything. In fact almost all the people i dislike or have no interest in whatsoever won something. Oh and Libby got arrested for trying to help Darren sell some knock off CD players he got from Mo to a police officer.
-
I've never understood why Stacey was popular, even before she turned back into a nasty little bitch. She's annoyed me from the moment she arrived and the fact the whole show has to revolve around her is very annoying. Also not sure about Darren/Libby romance (mainly because Darren and Libby just reminds me of one of the best couples in Neighbours and these two really don't compare).
-
Bradley has become such a creep. His weird obsession with Queen Chav is really annoying, it's all he ever talks about, and the way he treated Preeti proved he was definately his father's son. I just don't get the appeal of Stacey at all. I don't think i've ever hated a character in Eastenders as much as i hate her.
-
I've never understood why some people think Tanya dumping Max (who is a lying creep but a good father) for Sean (unbalanced psycho with a very odd closeness to his sister) is a good idea. I hope it never happens. The more i see of Li and Mickey the more i love them. I'll be sad to see Naomi go this week, she is such a waste of what could have been a good character if she'd been developed further and used a bit more.
-
I don't think he does. I'm glad the Beale twins are finally being gven storylines, they seem to have been the children who are seen and not heard for far too long. Lucy in particular seems like a great little actress with a lot of potential.
-
Jane and Lucy need to be used a lot more than the likes of Max, Stacey, Dawn and Rob. They are much better actors and far more interesting characters.
-
I wouldn't put it past her, she is a nasty piece of work. I'd love Jane to become part of a big storyline again, they did hint at one when her mother visited for the non-wedding but since then she's been in the background alot. And according to Sharon Marshall on This Morning, baby George/Tomas or whatever he's called this week will be leaving soon which is good news as although Dot's great i don't think the stroyline could have gone very far.
-
I don't get what Max sees in Stacey when he has Tanya at home. He must be hoping some of her fake tan will rub off on him, after all she's got nothing else going for her.
-
I'm really loving May's revenge on Rob and Dawn as i just find them so annoying together. And i love Jane standing up to Peggy and Stella. She's way better than both of them. Also loving Li/Mickey. They make a great double act. I could just do without seeing Stacey in every episode even when the storylines have nothing to do with her. I wish she'd disappear for a couple of months like Sean.
-
It doesn't happen often but i was on Ian's side during his argument with those horrible builders. I was almost cheering him on when he got their van towed away, they were asking for it.
-
I think i must be the only person who absolutely loves Li, i think she's a brilliant troublemaker and just what's needed to help spice things up. As much as i love Dot (and June Brown), i think the baby storyline starting to wear a bit thin, it needs a big plot twist and fast.
