^No it's not legally binding. I think they were just hoping with Dawn being thick she'd hand over the baby thinking it was. Not very well thought through.

After a slow few weeks i think the dramas finally picking up again with the Ben/Stella storyline. I'd still love to see more of Mickey and Li though they sre my new favourite couple in the square.
-
I like May way more than Dawn (she needs a good slap) but i wish she'd stop obsessing about Dawn and the baby, it's like she has nothing else to talk about, and she seems to be the only doctor in the world who never goes to work despite her surgery being 100 yards away. She seems to be spending all her time stalking Rob and moaning about Dawn. I like her being a bitch but would like to see her do something normal for a change rather than the same thing/arguments every episode.

I love Li, she's fab with tons of potential. I loved Elaine Tan in Hollyoaks in The City as well, Gucci was class: such a drama queen and exhibitionist. I really think the show needs more lively characters like Li who will cause trouble. And Li and Mickey make a great couple. I'm bored of every storyline focusing on money troubles or Sean and Stacey and their dull problems and everything going back to normal within a week and the drama not being all that effective.
-
I hope that's not true. I'm starting to dislike Preeti as much as i dislike Stacey (and that's a lot). If they bring her family in there will be no getting rid of her.
-
I have no sympathy for Stacey at all. How twisted do you have to be to think that sleeping with your exes dad is the best revenge for someone dumping you. I can't wait for it to blow up in her face. The sooner we see more psycho Stella the better as that storyline needs a few more twists and turns as it starting to get boring very quickly. And also the sooner Preeti is axed the better. Could she get anymore pointless and annoying. They should definately keep Li though she has loads more potential to create mayhem in the square with Mickey. They make a brilliant couple, one of the best Eastenders have had in ages IMO

It feels a bit weird without Sonia and Martin. I think the show needs some new characters that are actually interesting as well as try to develop some of the characters they already have. I only really like Li at the moment and she's only ever in one small scene a week at the moment which is annoying especially when you have to put up with chavvy Stacey and her moaning 24/7.

Although it's my favourite, i've gone off it a bit too especially as my two favourites, Jake and Ruby left so quickly after each other in really rushed exits that didn't suit either characters. Now i have no one i particularly like. I hate Stacey so the fact that almost every single episode revolves around her and her temper tantrums can be really frustrating. We need a long break from her IMO. I'm just getting interested again because of Li and Mickey and i am really hoping they get together and Li stays for a long time to come.

I have a horrible feeling my hopes that Li and Mickey getting together permanently are going to be dashed and the writers are going to pair him off with the terminally dull Preeti. I can't wait for Max and Stacey to get caught. I can't stand Stacey so i really want Tanya to punch her smug, chavvy little face. It's about time everyone realised what a nasty little cow she really is, instead of all this 'Poor little Stacey just wants to be loved' rubbish. As for Max he's a creep but a good character. I'm waiting patiently for Stella ro go psycho but it's being a bit slow in coming and the sooner Rob and May con Dawn the better, she is so annoying.
-
For the first time ever i actually quite liked Carly when she punched Shirley. I'd love to see Pat give her a 'Pat slap' as they nearly knock people out cold. And yay from the spoilers i've read on Digital Spy i think Li and Mickey might be on the verge of getting together, once he's told annoying little Preeti to get lost. I really want Mickey and Li to get together as i like them both. Preeti would just make Mickey as irritating and pointless as her.
-
It was a nice episode. I liked the little music at the end as it was the end of an era. I loved Carly punching Shirley even more though.
-
Good news. I like Li, she could easily become a firm favourte of mine.
-
I guessed the secret too. We are both very intelligent.

Naomi was one of my favourites and she could have been brilliant if they'd have used her a bit more. I hate Stacey so seeing her annoying little face 24/7 is a pain. It would be nice to see the storylines shared equally. Does anyone know if Li (the girl Mickey liked and Darren tried to seduce) is coming back. I really liked her and it gave Mickey some more screentime and i think they'd make a good couple but she seems to have disappeared. She has so much more potential than Preeti who is just plain annoying.
-
They've axed Naomi which is a shame as she still had loads of potential. If the writers didn't insist on giving all available storylines to Stacey Slater then characters like Naomi might be a bit more popular andestablished. Instead they give her one storyline (that wasn't great) and then stick her in the background for a year doing nothing then axe her saying 'she's run her course' which is a complete cop out.

I was so glad Joe killed Pauline. I felt really sorry for him i just wish they'd done a flashback scene showing him hit her with the frying pan, that would have been brilliant. How poor and predictable was Kevin's deep, dark secret. What a let down.
-
Great story and updates. I hope they get engaged on the actual show now, that would be good.

The nice moments of Stacey annoy me just as much as the bitchy moments. The writers try to hard with the 'poor confused little Stacey just wants to be loved' when to me it comes across as 'let's give Stacey more screentime after all she's the only character we can be bothered to use'. She is a right pain in the neck and i can't wait until Lacey Turner finally decides to leave. Does anyone else have no sympathy for Martin? He was a little too quick to believe Sonia killed his precious mommy and the way he makes out she was the nicest woman in the world just makes me want to scream. I also don't know how Sonia puts up with that little brat Rebecca she is really irritating and always causing trouble for her. I'd dump them both the pair of miseries.
-
Sorry but i just can't stand her (well i'm not that sorry). She is always in the middle of storylines that don't concern her, she has far too much screentime dedicated to her (e.g. during Ruby and Pauline's departures the episode centred around her and her stupid, annoying mother). She is a Kat clone except that Kat was 100 times better and had a warmth to her. Stacey just has a smug facial expression i just want to slap off her annoying little face.
-
I hope he takes Stacey with him and they never come back. She is so overused and overrated i just hate Stacey and have the urge to turn over when her and terrible voice come on screen.
-
Brilliant. I love Ric and Matilda being happy together. Glad Lucas didn't spoil it.
-
Great start. Anything about Ric and Matilda has me hooked. Well Done.
-
I miss Ruby, she was great. Sean and Stacey are really annoying though, the way they are with each other it's as if they fancy each other or something. Very creepy and weird. That and i just plain don't like Stacey 'aren't i great, everyone love me' Slater and her screechy, whiney little voice. She needs a good slap.
