  1. Dexter isn't a nerd though. If anything he hides his intelligence. He's an quirky, strange, wonderfully weird oddball. I don't know why people seem to be confusing weird or strange behaviour with nerdiness. Lucas was a true nerd, but because he was typically good-looking and popular nobody ever classified him as a nerd.
  2. Oh God please don't compare the marvelous Dexter to the horrendous Robbie! Dexter is so much more unusual and quirky and a true character. Robbie was just an irritating geek at first who then morphed into a pathetic wimp who spent all his time shouting. Awful character, such a pain during his years on the show.
  3. Dexter is comedy gold. What a wonderful character, I LOVE him, and I'm not afraid to say it!!!!
  4. Terrible idea. Coupling the most wonderful character in the show (Dexter) with the most repulsive one (Ruby). It would destroy Dexter. Personally I hope Dexter never gets a girlfriend or at least not for about a year. Seeing Dexter chase after women is so entertaining. He has been the sole reason I have started watching the show again recently after months if not almost a year of not watching.
  5. So hot, even in the middle of the night. I love it!!!!!
  6. I'm actually really excited about the Lucas storyline. I like , but I'm not so attached to her that I would be bothered if Lucas bumps her off. It might be for the best since

I love Nathan! He's a male bitch. Such a rare character. He'll never be a proper villain because he's too weedy and crap for that, but I love how spiteful and nasty he is. I'm not saying I love those kind of traits in people, but it is oddly fascinating to see people on TV who get away with acting like that. Probably explains why I love Janine in Eastenders.
  8. Today's Corrie was weird. Not in a bad way, but it was just very surreal. I liked all of it, but there was nothing really serious about it, even though Blanche, who is probably one of the most beloved (if not THE most beloved) characters in the show's history, had just died. I'm not sure what to think of this show any more. It's emerging from an extremely bad period into a new very strange one...
  9. They really need to bring in some new female characters in their 20's. Dannielle's dead, Dawn, Carly and Amira have left, and Chelsea and Stacey are going, leaving only Janine in that age group. They have a good bunch of teen girls in Whitney, Zsa Zsa, Lucy and Lauren, plus Mercy arriving soon. The women in their 30's are all quite strong (Ronnie, Roxy, Tanya, Bianca), and the women who are 40 plus are generally great, with the exception of maybe Heather. It's just the 20's age group that is really lacking at the moment.
  10. OH MY GOOODDDD!!!!!!!!!!! :( Stacey AND Jean!!!!! I cannot believe this, I'm so shocked and disappointed! Stacey has always been great, but in the past year since Dannielle's death, the bipolar, Archie's murder, the pregnancy and Bradley's death she has grown into one of the most epic and legendary characters in Eastenders' history. I will miss her so much, it's unreal. As for Jean, I LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!! The actress who plays her is incredible, one of the most convincing on the show by far. The character is such a wonderful little nutcase. I'll miss her "Sausage Surprise" so much!!!! I really hope Sean comes back for their exits.
  11. It is a shame that Claire and Ashley were chosen for the axe when so many others deserve it more. I don't think Ashley is a huge loss to the show, although I like his history with characters like Fred and Maxine. Claire on the other hand has potential. She is such a nice, caring person, and provides a good contrast to some of the rally brash women on the street like Janice, Carla, Becky, Rosie, Tina, Molly, etc. I suppose Sunita will fill that "nice girl" role now. If I was in charge I'd get rid of the following: Sean(probably the worst character in soap history), Maria, Michelle, Molly, Tyrone, Kirk, Fizz, John, Chesney, Becky, Julie, Janice and Dev. I'd keep Rosie because I actually find her funny in how she is such a ridiculous bimbo. Also if Craig ever come back they could pair them up again. I'd keep Steve as well. He HAS to stay for Tracy's return, and also if Karen ever returns. Even though Corrie is my least favourite of the four UK soaps, I think it has improved this year compared to how utterly dire it was last year.
  12. Why does John Stape exist? Do they actually think anyone has any interest in this dreadful character. He literally has nothing going for him. He isn't interesting, or a proper villain, or a good guy, or good looking, or funny, or charismatic. He's just crap.

That sounds great. Even though I like Aaron and Jackson, I agree with Danny Miller that it would be unrealistic if Aaron fell in love with his first ever boyfriend. That would be too ridiculous, like stupid McDean. Whatever they do with Aaron, they better not turn Adam gay and have them fall in love.

JP's storyline was great, until Craig suddenly fell for JP, which I found ridiculous to be honest. Aaron's stoyrline is really heart-breaking and brutal and violent. It just feels so real, like it isn't fictional at all.

I am loving this storyline. It is being handled so much better than Syed in Eastenders, or JP in Hollyoaks. Not that they are/were bad per se, but Aaron's storyline is just miles better. Jackson is great as well, I really like how he doesn't take any crap from Aaron - that is exactly what Aaron needs.
