  1. I think that describes Romeo exactly. Actually he reminds me of the blonde guy from The Dukes Of Hazard - Bo Duke! The Dukes were meant to be good old boys.
  2. I agree that Colleen can be nasty at times. But how is Irene ever nasty? She's only ever nasty if someone has hurt one of her kids. Excuse me, did I use the word nasty even once in my post? No I did not. I never called anyone nasty. If you use your eyes and read what I wrote, you will see that I said Gina brings a calm presence to the show, which Irene and Colleen do not. Colleen is a comedy character, and Irene is bubbly and friendly, but can get stressed easily and worries a lot. Gina is different, she is serene and approaches things very maturely and calmly. Oh sorry I misread it. It's fine, sorry I was pissed off earlier and just vented my anger.

  4. Sunny, sunny, sunny, sunny, sunny!!!!!!! The sunniest day of the year so far!
  5. I like them, both as individuals and as a couple. It's nice to see a new slant on the good girl/bad boy relationship that we've seen so many times before with the young characters. Gina might not be the most exciting character ever, but she does bring a nice calm presence to the show, which characters like Irene and Colleen don't. Also, every time either Nicole or Rubbish are on screen and start their usual hysterical shrieking about whatever stupid problem they have, it is a huge relief to see Gina, a woman with class, maturity and dignity.
  6. Annie and Romeo as a couple aren't my favourite, but I love Romeo and if he has to be with one of the girls I'd rather it was Annie that either Rubbish or Nicole. The thought of lovely Romeo being bogged down by one of those two screeching idiots is too painful to bear.
  7. It was so sad tonight, I got teary a few times. Like a big wimp. I loved all the Zainab scenes, she is so hilarious, especially when she was emailing Tamwar and then emailing that company to complain about the man not showing up. They should do an entire episode of just Zainab on a computer complaining about things. The Chryed scenes were nice as well, and I'm not as big Chryed fan. They were subtle, which was lovely. The ending with Stacey running was strange, I don't think I've ever seen Eastenders end like that, with a character running, and not in Albert Square.
  8. Even though Becca is clearly bonkers and is partly responsible for Bradley's death, I don't hate the character. I'm excited to see where she goes in the future. Eastenders has so many mentally unstable or ill people in it. Ronnie is obviously very disturbed, but hasn't been diagnosed with anything, as was Sean Slater. Jean and Stacey are both bi-polar. Becca is just mental, she seems really paranoid. Lucas is a psychopath. There's been plenty of others in the past too.
  9. I've just realised how much I love Bradley. He was one of the few truly good people in Albert Square. Most of the characters on the show are capable of doing something bad or evil, but he wasn't really.
  10. I don't think Jack did too badly, Scott Maslen he must have been so nervous, he recovered quite well. Ronnie got some of her lines wrong as well, she repeated herself on purpose while she tried to remember what to say next. Max "gagging" was hilarious, he clearly stuck his fingers down his throat! Also, Bradley's fingers moved a bit after he died. They all did a fantastic job though, the actors and the crew. Everyone's hair, make-up and wardrobe looked exactly the same as last night, even though last night's episode was probably filmed before Christmas.
  11. OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!! kjsdghfkjadshkjhadsfhkladjs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (mashing the keyboard in shock) I knew it could potentially be Stacey, but I didn't realise how shocked I would be by it. It makes the most sense and causes the biggest tragedy with Bradley dying. If Bradley died and anyone else besides Stacey were Archie's killer it wouldn't have the same tragic impact. I reckon Bradley knew Stacey had done it and he killed himself on purpose to protect her by making it look like he killed Archie. She probably told him everythingin her bedroom when they were packing their bags. On a separate note - Archie raped Ronnie, and was probably Dannielle's real father????!!!!!! OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was so evil, I'm actually glad Stacey murdered him. Eastenders is without a doubt the grimmest, most misery-filled show on TV.
  12. I've never been so excited about an episode of a soap. Not since Sam's death two years ago anyway. I'm meeting a couple of friends tomorrow at about 6 but i'm totally ditching them to go home and watch it, I really am that sad. Digitalspy has been going crazy lately, it'll probably crash either during or after the live episode. I want it to be Peggy, or Tracy(weirder things have happened on Eastenders), but I now reckon it'll be Ryan, Sean, Grant or Stacy. I don't think it'll be any of the big suspects like Ronnie, Jack or Janine, and I especially don't think they would turn Phil or Ian into killers.
  13. I love how Archie's murder storyline has made us all forget about the other murder storyline going on in Albert Square - Lucas, who is on his way to becoming a serial killer I reckon. He kills the dog next.
  14. Cold, as always. I swear, this is the longest Winter EVER!!! It hasn't been over 5 degrees since September.
  15. I'm getting really excited about Friday as well. I really have no clue as to who the killer is. I want it to be Peggy, but it could be anyone really. Hopefully it will be one of the main suspects, not some random character like Ryan or Becca, or a returning character like Sean. Strangely, even though this is a huge week in Eastenders, I haven't been that impressed with the last two episodes. They were just a bit subdued or something, there wasn't enough misery!!! I suppose they want to keep all the really exciting stuff for Friday. Can't wait to see if there are any slip-ups or mistakes during the live broadcast. I know Eastenders is as far from comedy as you can get, but I remember the live episode of Will & Grace and how the cast kept having to stop themselves from laughing. I wonder if Friday will be anyting like that.
  16. DinerLandlord

    Emmerdale

Maisie and the screeching, and the wailing, and the gurning, and the wheezing, and the squawking, and the shouting, and the weeping, and the snorting, and the slobbering, and the snivveling, and the sobbing, and the.....GAAHHHHH!!!! SHUT UP!!!!! JUST SHUT IT!!!!! SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. ^ I have no sympathy for Gail. She is a world-class idiot. Everyone kept warning her about Joe, but she trusted him blindly and now look what has happened to her. She never listens to Audrey, and Audrey is always right.
  18. Tracy will hopefully liven things up a bit again. I hope she makes both Michelle and Becky's lives hell, especially Becky.
  19. Crappie, I mean Corrie, did not deserve the award this year. it has been one of the worst years they have EVER had, while Eastenders and Emmerdale have been on top form. ITV must be so desperate to save the show's reputation. I was glad to see the back of Sham or whatever she's called. Can't bear her and the boy with the lego hair, and their constant whining/crap acting. The only teen worth watching is Sophie.
  20. I know Aden is a jerk, but that is his worst side, and my point is that all this Nicole stuff is bringing it out in him. Well, ok, technically his homicidal side is his worst side, and only his father brings that out, but even that would be more interesting to watch than him being a knob to Liam, and all over NICOLE! She isn't worth either of their time! What I mean by Nicole going to be with Roman is I want her to leave Summer Bay, leave the show, and never come back. I don't really care exactly where she goes, I just want her gone because I cannot stand her. I'll just console myself with the thought that the actress' initial contract will come to an end next year, and hopefully she won't choose to renew it.
  21. Ok, I officially hate them together. After watching the past few episodes in Ireland they are unbearable together. Nicole is one of the most irritating bints that has ever been in the show, and she brings out the absolute worst in Aden, he acts like nothing but a jerk where she is concerned. She got flowers Roman and kept saying how much she misses him, and I just wanted to scream at the screen - "then go be with him!". And to think I thought Adelle were bad! Naden are insufferable. I'm actually looking forward to Aden's departure just so we can see the end of this unholy alliance. Such a shame, considering how much I used to love Aden.
  22. Molly is so awful. She is such a horrible selfish cow. I cannot stand Tyrone, I think he's an unbearable idiot, but I couldn't help but feel sorry for him, he didn't deserve the treatment he got from Molly. Even when she left him, she was still thinking of what Kevin wanted by protecting him. She owed Tyrone the truth and she should have just told him about the affair, no matter what damage it would cause for Kevin or how much it would have hurt Tyrone. I really hope this is the last we see of Molly, but I doubt it will be. She'll probably arrive back in a few months heavily pregnant and not knowing who the father is.
  23. ^ Mine too. He's the only new character who arrived in 2009 that I like. Apart from Archie, but he doesn't really count as he was only there for two episodes.
  24. Does anyone else find his voice a bit odd? I can't tell if it is the actor's natural voice, or if he is somehow trying to sound younger on purpose to make him more convincing as a teenager and not a 24 year-old. His accent is also a bit Americanised, but that doesn't suprise me, you get guys speaking like that here in Ireland too.
  25. I like seeing more storylines involving people of John and Gina's age instead of constant teen rubbish. I'm only 23, but I find them infinitely more interesting than Ruby, Nicole, etc.
