Went to see Australia last night. It was great and the audience laughed all the way through at the typical Australian humour. Americans won't "get it" and they'll hate it because it isn't about them. :P

It is about us and has so many iconic Australian scenes and settings. The storyline is iconically Australian. I loved it and of course Nicole Kidman isn't that hard on the eyes either.

Thats true, but I think they may have included Pearl Harbour and the army personnel and the Wizard of Oz to appeal to them. :D

Mamma Mia was the last movie I saw, and it was fanbloomintastic. The cast were perfectly chosen, the music was stunning, the scenary was incredible and it was the brightest - both visually and emotionally - film I have ever watched. I've lent the DVD to my grandparents and I'm itching to get it back so that I can watch it again!
