This is not particularly orignal but i think of a long plane journey, sunny weather, bbqs, home and away and neighbours, rolf harris, steve irwin ... most of this comes from the media and i suppose is basically just a list of stereotypes, but since i've never been to Australia and i don't know any Australians, i don't have much else to go on. Also, i think for a lot of people here, Australia seems like a really attractive place to live, on account of the sunshine, friendly people, outdoor lifestyle and generally more relaxed way of life. A lot of people choose to emmigrate to Australia because of this perception, and likewise, i know quite a few people who go for their gap year - clearly, then, Australia presents a pretty positive image on an international scale. The question is: Should fatty fast foods like McDonalds and KFC have health warnings on the label? After all, alcahol and cigarettes do. What are your opinions? Jess Posted June 14, 2007 Report Share Posted June 14, 2007 ^^ Hmm, I don't think they should. They're only bad for you if you live on them. Alcohol and cigarettes, however, are pretty dangerous. It's all about moderation with food, and I don't think that they should have warnings on them.
