Okay, I have to write an assignment about Ireland and the Irish. So if anyone from Ireland would be kind enough to tell me what it's like living in Ireland, then that's much appreciated

Crazy! Why would anybody want to do an assignment on this country?! hehe... You can PM me as well. I've lived in the East (kinda like the Core of the country) and the West (the very behind peripheral part) so I can give you information on life in both regions (life is very different in both regions).

Well, we're little green people who live on a little island with biiig pots of gold...

Give me me pot of gold mate. :P Yoohoo!

I have a group History assignment and our task is to 'develop and present a management plan to reflect your group's proposal for managing the site of the Sphinx' which is due on Tuesday. But that's not the problem.

Part of my part of the assignment is to write up a bit about the 'aesthetic and ethical issues' which would need to be considered when coming up with this management plan. I'm having trouble FINDING some examples of these issues (in particular, ethical).

Any help with this is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

To you guys out there who rocks in writing... stuff :P

I have to write a comparison of two novels, the name doesn't matter. How am I supposed to do it? I can't think of any way to write it, so it makes sense. Any ideas?

You could start by talking about the story, discuss the similarities and contrasts, and do the same with the idea, characters, maybe authors style of writing? That's what I usually did in my assignments to start them off.

My assignment is to write an essay on this:

How did an historical force or movement influence an individual or group to seek change? Describe and explain the consequences of actions taken by the individual or group to bring about change.

With that, I have decided to do communism, the Viet Minh, and the reunification of Vietnam. Don't ask why I chose that. Perhaps someone has an idea of something easier to do (note, it needs to be related to the Vietnam war).

To make my task easier for you guys to understand - this:

How did communism influence the Viet Minh to seek reunifying Vietnam. Describe and explain the consequences of actions taken by the Viet Minh to bring about the reunifaction of Vietnam.

I really need help. I have no idea where to start or what to write about. Basically, I am the baby and you're my mom. I'm helpless.

Thank you in advance :)

One of my classes is called Belgian institutions. It's basically about Belgian history, economics, politics, culture...

Our teacher asked us to make a little survey to find out what foreigners know about our country. (And he asks us to do that less than 3 weeks before our first exam )

If you have 15-20 minutes to answer these questions, I would really appreciate it.:D The questions aren't that hard. Fortunately for you, there aren't any questions on Belgian politics because that's a very complicated matter.

Spelling doesn't matter.

Please, don't cheat. If you don't know some answers, don't look it up on the Internet, just leave a blank. If you only know one answer, that's fine too. If there are mistakes, it's ok, I won't be angry, I promise. :P

You have until May 18th to answer the questions. I'll post the correct answers on May 19th.

If you could please PM me your answers, that would be better. I wouldn't want people copying someone else's answers.

Thank you in advance. :D

A. What's your name?

B. How old are you?

C. Where are you from?

D. Have you ever been to Belgium?

E. If so, where did you go?

01. What's the capital of Belgium?

02. Do you know other Belgian cities/towns?

03. What are our official languages?

04. What are the colours of the Belgian flag?

05. What's our currency?

06. In which century did Belgium become independent (if you know the exact date, you can also give it)?

07. Is Belgium a monarchy or a republic? (Do you know the name of our king/queen or president?)

08. What are our neighbouring countries?

09. Do you know any Belgian celebrities (singers, bands, actors, sports(wo)men...)?

10. When you think of Belgium, what comes to your mind (a place, food, a celebrity...)?
