I should^ I did chemistry at High School...

Hm... I think Magnesium Oxide is usually around 40% Oxygen, 60% Magnesium.

But I don't have a clue how you work it out. Some chemical formula I've long since forgotten I'm guessing! ^_^

Does anyone know how you measure the percentage of Oxygen in Magnesium Oxide?

I'm doing this at the moment... but i haven't done Magnesium Oxide yet... sorry!

But i think it's around 45% Mg and 55%O2...

I'm not completly sure... :(

I have to do a science assignment and one of the questions asks you to state any trends in the data. Does anyone know what I would write? Thanks. :)

It depends what your data is for and how it is displayed. A trend basically is the relationship between the data and what you are trying to find out.

If you have a graph for example, you would look to see if it is a linear relationship, or whether it is positive or negatively sloping. Also look for any outliers that may be influencing the results and the strength of relationship (ie. how many data points do you actually have?).

For my health project, (which is my least favourite subject, but i'm reasonably good at)

i need 20 people to say 5 words they would use to describe 'youth' (12-20)

for example.

rude. dissruptive. annoying. or pleasent. helpful. kind etc.
