Yes Amy is definitely a superb and talented actress - I don't doubt or deny that. What I do detest is comparing Natalie Blair to Amy - they are nothing alike. Even though Natalie did win a New Talent Logie a few years ago by rights it should have gone to Rachel Gordon when she first started out in Blue Heelers. I think that both Amy Mathews and Rachel Gordon are far more talented than Natalie. *end of rant*
Anaya Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 ^^I sooo agree with you both Amy Matthews and Rachel Gordon are very talented and great actresses and really make their characters believable and enjoyable to watch. Whereas Natalie Blair is an ok actress... and really still needs to develop her acting abilities... so i would not put her above either amy or rachel! They both are on another level compared to natalie blair!
bttb-rox! Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 Amy was jaw dropingly amazing in todays UK episode! She has been incrdible throughout the whole storyline but I thought todays Five and Five Life episodes really showed how fantastic she really is. She deserves a logie IMO!!! I was so pleased that she won best new female talent this year, she truely desereved it. I love Rachel's character...very warm, smily and bubbly .

Every scene she's in she 100% delivers but I am SO upset about what they have done to Rachel's character. She used to be so nice and now she just seems really bitter and argumentative. I suppose it's understanding given what she's been through. But in Summer Bay they can afford a bit of artistic licence and keep her nice and smiley imo.
