Rachel is the only one on the show who doesn't make me feel like an ugly-oramous that should be in a museum somewhere!!

Apart from Sally. I loved how she was just healthy. Not incredibly skinny, not podgy. Just a healthy, fit person.

I think Amy is a brilliant actress, and though Tachel is a wonderful couple I am sick of all the melodrama that they have to go through now......Neither Jon nor Amy deserve that, they aren't Jack & Martha or Aden & Belle and they shouldn't be treated like that.

I was reading the comments on todays episodes and it just proved what I always feel, Rachel is never allowed to have an outburst, be irrational or think about herself without being seen has a self absorbed, evil character.

The thing I hate most is when whenever people always say she should have known better because she is a psycologist. Is she really not allowed to be angry and bitter about being taken hostage by someone she has helped out alot (alot of people forget she was the one to convince Roman to take in Aden how is that not caring), then made to sit there and watch as someone was slowly dying all the while finding out that her own fiance just believed she just went away. I also don't like how everyone is saying that she shouldn't be angry that Tony thinks that she would just leave because of decisions she made in the past, that is unfair. I can say that recently Rachel's character has dissappointed be a bit but I seriously feel like the reaction she is getting from this episode is totally unjustified and mostly because people love Aden and immediately hates anyone who doesn't constantly defend his actions and people who don't like Rachel in general. She has been through a trauma, I hardly doubt she is thinking straight. Aden has been through alot yet it is okay for him to snap and loose it yet Rachel who has went through a tramatic expierence is not allowed to be irrational about it for a while.

I'm not a Rachel fan, but what you said about people hating her because of Aden I agree with. I have my reasons, but that's not one of them. It seems all the Aden and Adelle fans are coming out now and saying how much they hate her because of they way she's reacting to the situation.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Rachel isn't a doctor first, she's a human first and an automatic reaction to a trauma like that is to feel anger towards the person who has ruined things for you. I don't for a second believe she's upset because the wedding didn't happen as a lot of people are suggesting, if that was the case then she would have said something to Aden, like "let me go I'm supposed to be getting married blah blah" She's upset because the person she loves thinks badly of her and she's worried about where he has as well as having no way of contacting him. She seemed more worried about Tony than herself and I don't think just because Aden is a huge favourite at the minute with fans that we should be angry with Rachel for being upset with Aden for what he did. I understand why Aden did what he did don't get me wrong but I think the scenes in the promo are just Rachel's automatic reaction, she'll think about it and realise he is really sick. Unfortunately, Rachel is one of those characters who can do no right, people will always be angry at her no matter what she does because "she's a doctor, she should know better." Everyone Rachel loves gave up on her and just assumed she'd run off with Hugh without any valuable proof, I'd be upset to!

Also Belle shopped him to the police and refused to go and see him so why are people not angry at her? Not that they should, her reaction was totally justified to but I can't see how it's different to Rachels? If Rachel was complaining about missing her wedding to Aden while being held hostage then yes I'd understand people's anger towards her being all self indulged but all she did was try to help him and look after his Dad.

Good point. I don't see people saying Belle was mean for not forgeting about about the truama she just went through and going to see him because he has been through alot and she should be more understanding. One of the main reasons I love this storyline so much is because I can sympathise with everyone involved.

I agree to. Normally in soaps they do a goodie and baddie side in situations but in this case...everybody's reaction is totally justified. I mean, we all know deep down Aden is a good guy because were viewers and weve been able to see everything happen but Rachel didn't know that really. If this was reality, you'd be terrified of Aden and what he could do. Anyway, Rachel didn't even care about herself so I don't get why people call her self indulgent, she was concerned about Tony. I'm perfectly happy to criticise Rachel's character if she does something wrong but in this case, I think her reaction was totally justified and human.

I think the anti Rachel fans should sit back and think how they would feel, if they were Rachel and their wedding had just been cancelled, becuase they had been kidnapped. I bet they would be pretty peeved....
