How to screencap, Q&A

Right, I'm not very technical minded, so help would be much appreciated! I've been recording H+A episodes onto my Freeview hard drive recorder thing and was wondering if it's possible to transfer these onto the computer so that I can take captures and upload episodes, etc. Do I need a PC card thing, or is there an easier way of doing things? Ive tried Googling for help, but all the technical info. has gone straight over my head! Any help would be much appreciated.

I would love to upload some older episodes her on the forum but i don't know how to get them on my computer

I think to do that you might have to put the episodes on a dvd then if you can play dvds on your comp then you can make captures.

But I'm not very techinal either. I would love to put eps on my comp but I only have them on tape.

Hi i was just wondering how do you post screencaps in this forum? I have made some on VLC and they are saved in my pictures/documents, but im not sure how to post them on to the forum. Any help would be great, Thankyou

You first need to upload them to photobucket.com and then paste the links from there.
