Natasha Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 It was an ok episode. That Tina was a real piece of work. John Howard paid tribute to Mark at the end but wasn't sure if it was a tribute to Mark or to the LifeLine Hotline Number which he kept repeating. Quote
~Lynd~ Posted September 2, 2008 Report Posted September 2, 2008 Considering Mark was suffering depression and committed suicide i think the repitition of the number was appropriate.Poor John sounded like he was trying not to cry. Quote
zzazzb Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 ^ i know, poor thing, he really did look like he was trying hard, but imagine less than a week after your friend died you had to tell the rest of the country what happened, i know i couldn't do it. Quote
emmasi Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 I still haven't watched it. I haven't really had the time, but I think I'm avoiding it too. I caught the first minute or so when I started taping... and the particular injuries of the patient......... yeah, turned over to Ten REAL quick. Quote
Miss Tan Tan Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 Knowing what John was like he really sounded heart broken. Quote
~Lynd~ Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 I saw Wil at the funeral on the news.He looked really pale and sad. Quote
Miss Tan Tan Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 Well after working with someone for so long, being like brothers I think him and Andy might have taken Mark's death really hard. Quote
emmasi Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 I watched the episode today after watching a clip from the funeral yesterday. I think seeing the funeral made it easier to accept it somehow. And then I was just able to watch him as Dan and appreciate what he's left us with. It helped that he was particularly funny in that episode, dealing with the sex-line lady and gossiping about Jack and Gabby . Dan: "Those chatlines cost a fortune! Probably more from mobiles. That's how it used to be anyway." *Jack looks at him.* Dan: "I'm guessing about that, obviously..." He so wasn't guessing The tribute thing at the end made me cry though. Poor John Howard. That looked so rough... Quote
