Wow, that episode really ran the gamut of emotions. First I was anxious (I had a feeling Dean would die, as per the ads), then I was concerned (Dean got shot!), then I was joyous (I LOVE deja vu eps!!), then I was sad (Sam was so upset...), then I was laughing my ass off (piano, axe, dog... ), then I was scared (Sam IS dangerous with a stake!), then I was fretful (Dean looked awfully dead that last time...), then I was gutted (six months later... Dean was still dead, and Sam killed his only friend...), then I was relieved (it was all a trick!), then I was happy (Dean was aliiiiiiive!), then I was cautious (but Sam shouldn't let him out of his sight!!!), but above all... I think it was... dread. Because even though Sam has Dean back now (and has the much needed hugs to prove it), he knows that he's going to die sometime... and then what will he do?

Well well. After an emotional roller coaster like that, I may just have invested myself in this series. Sam was so, so sad... :(

Emassi, did you notice in the episode where Dean is fighting himself, right at the end, his eyes flash black indicating that Dean is now possessed?

which begs the question if Dean is saying the exorcism spell to exorcise the demon, when he himself is possessed, would be exorcise himself as well?

I... don't know. It's possible... but that was a dream, so... would it count as him saying it? Do you think that by defeating the demon inside him in the dream state, he's actually managed to rid himself of it in the real world? Is that what you're asking ?
