I can't wait to see the episosde where Castiel leaves the meat suit & we get to see the human (Jimmy). It is funny though. I don't know why, but hearing Dean call me sick for wanting him to get with Sam was so satisfying The show seems to be getting very religious these days. I suppose it was inevitable. Red Ranger 1 Posted July 9, 2009 Report Share Posted July 9, 2009 I've seen all of the fourth series now and I'm sorry to say I'm a bit disappointed.The show seems to have made the same mistakes Angel and The X-Files made around the same time, turning into a "turgid vampire soap opera" whether if you miss one episode you're stuffed and producing great standalone episodes but getting bogged down in its own mythology, having the same faces turn up all the time just because they can in episodes that only advance the plot by inches. And the whole idea of "the boys" as the heroes that come to town and save everyone seems to have gone out the window, as their behaviour could charitably be described as "pragmatic."Ever since Season Three, they've been calmly murdering the innocent victims of demonic possession without a qualm, as though someone decided a slice and dice finale was more interesting.The days of Dean showing undisguised disgust at Gordon Walker exorcising a demon but killing the victim seem a distant memory. As for that cliffhanger...Either it'll get resolved very quickly next year or the whole thing will be a cop out of Millennium Season Two proportions or Season Five will be set in a world completely different to the one we live in.Frankly my money's on the middle one.
