Oh god, the opening credits to their sitcom was hilarious. I had a good old giggle. When they ran into each other back to back and it scared them and they just starting laughing. The laughing was so fake, it was funny. LOL. And the bike riding was awesome. HAHA.

It’s been quite a few months since I last posted here but I was trying to clear my Freeview box and watched all the Supernatural episodes I had left up to the end of the fourth season. Although I still think the third season was the best it was highly entertaining.

What I found interesting was how the attitude of the brothers almost changed. Dean was traditionally the hardliner, the no-nonsense one who was quite prepared to kill someone for the sake of the greater good whereas Sam was always the one the was reluctant. As the season progressed Dean seemed to have doubt for example in the episode where Alastair captured the grim reapers and when Dean and Sam stopped him at the end, Dean wanted the reaper to make allowances for people in that town that should have died (because they were good people). Again when they thought they’d met their half brother and Sam wanted to teach him to become a hunter, Dean thought it would be better if they’d left him out of that kind of life. Also he actually seemed fed up with everything. Fed up with Sam for lying about drinking demon blood and killing demons and after Pamela died fed up of burying his friends whereas Sam just wanted to get on with things. Still loved the fact that certain scenes between them were quite tongue in cheek and at times found Dean absolutely hilarious. And in spite of everything even though he told Sam if he walked out the door they were over Dean still went after him – Brotherly love.

I wasn’t sure about Castiel at first but quite liked him eventually although I didn’t like the stunt he pulled with Anna considering that if hadn’t been for her Uriel would have finished him off for sure. Uriel was a character that I quite disliked but still thought he was well written. The writers wrote him out too quickly and he could have featured in a lot more storylines. He was a character who I didn’t like as a person (or Angel I should say) but liked as a bad guy. Again loved some of his dialogue especially with Dean and Sam i.e. “Winchester and Winchester”, “You watch your tone boy”, “I’m starting to like you boy”.

I never would have guessed that Lilith was the 66th seal. When Sam attacked her she didn’t even try and defend herself. I have to say Ruby played a blinder though. She manipulated Sam the whole time perfectly. I was completely oblivious to her plans and the only reason I guessed was when Sam was listening to the voicemail and she had a smug look on her face. It’s a shame because although I preferred Kate Cassidy I got quite fond of this Ruby. Looks like Dean was right about her all along.

Everything seems to point to the fact that the not only did the Angels and Demons know what was going to happen but some of them on both sides wanted the final seal to be broken so they can have their war. So with the rise of Lucifer, looks like what could be Armageddon. Not sure how long we’ll have to wait until the 5th season airs in the UK though. I can’t wait and if it doesn’t come soon enough I may have to consider downloading it.

I'm in two-minds about the show at the moment. I'll spoiler tag it so I don't spoil.

I really dislike the whole angel-god stuff. It's not me being anti-religious or anything, it's just I don't like watching it on TV, "real" or entertainment. It makes me somewhat uncomfortable. I much preferred the show when each episode had it's own demon/case to sort out. I preferred the characters in the first few seasons but I think they're mediocre now.

:( I liked it when Sam was still treated as "the kid" and how Dean was always the one making the jokes. Now they're both really serious. I hope I begin to like it again soon, but at this moment in time it isn't at the top of my "want to watch" list. :(
