Jack and Martha definitely. They are like the perfect couple, my perfect tv couple. And i tend to love the brunette couples from my fav tv shows :P And Kane and Kirsty were blonde  But seriously, Jack and Martha are like my IT couple till they leave, and probably even after they leave i'll still love them :P

If I compare the two couples: KK in 2004 and JM in 2006, I find both couple boring.

KK has gotten extremly boring after everyone accepted them. There is just so much drama that I really don`t care anymore. And I can`t think of another couple, that despite being meant to be, could be more wrong. I really don`t care about the reasons why Kane raped Dani, and if he didn`t know what he did was wrong. It was wrong, and I really feel Kirsty was too selfish when she got into a relationship with and later married Kane. And Kane was selfish for coming back for her.

As for Jack and Martha, I haven`t seen their whole story, but in the Australian episodes at the moment, I don`t see any chemistry between them what so ever. But at least they are a normal couple without to much drama, so they are watchabel.

As for people likeing Jack and Martha for their looks:Martha is pretty but I find Jack really scary.

So for the time being I like Jack and Martha the best. But their in no way a favourite of mine.

I agree with this KK in 2002 were much better after 2004 they went a bit boring, as they just looked like a normal couple in 2002 with all the forbidden romance and fights, there was something more special and intriguing about them , as for Martha and Jack, for 2006 they may be the best couple, but to compare to KK , there is in no way that kind of romance going on

Although I didn’t like Kane and Kirsty or the actors who portrayed them, but I would definitely say I could believe they were in love and had a strong connection. Jack and Martha are just two actors speaking lines to each other; there is no believable passion or bond.

This is a dumb comparison because they are totally different types of relationships. You'd be better saying who do you like better M and J or H and N. KK were white trash, always were, always will be.

Kirsty and Kane without a doubt! And as for Martha and Jack being the new K/K , no way! Kirsty and Kane had a relationship that was totally different from any other, they had amazing chemistry and passion, when you saw one you immediately thought of the other. IMO the love between them ran a whole lot deeper than Jack and Martha. I get the impression that J/M are kind of forced, in order to appeal to the shows younger audience who love the whole idea of boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy wins grirl back and they live happily ever after type story line. With K/K they had so many obstacles- her parents keeping them apart and the pressure from Kirsty's family to stay away from him, the whole eloping thing, the pregnancy lie, her kidney problems, Kanes cancer, his trial etc, and we saw them come through all of that which proved that their love was real. Even if you hated them you couldn't deny the fact that they were meant to be togather and really, really loved each other. Even when the whole town was against them they stuck together, and for me no couple will ever measure up to them, they were totally unique.

And Passion, well, they ended up sleeping together on their first date.

In my book, that's circumstancial lust. There is no real passion, IMO; there is more to passion than not being able to their hands off eachother. It was a case of "Martha has nobody, so we'll add a fit cop to the cast and she'll bed him on the first date". No originality, nothing special.

I couldn't agree more, they are just a conventional couple whereas Kane/Kirsty were original and had real chemistry.

Jack and Martha are a much better couple. Kirsty and Kane were cringeworthy together. Stick two highly annoying, overrated characters together and for me the KK period was unbearable to watch. It made a mockery of a serious issue like rape by suggesting after a couple of years and a few nice acts of remorse that Dani should have forgiven the little creep and got over it because afterall Kirsty 'deserves' to be happy. As if, never in a million years.

Jack and Martha are quite cute together and seem much more realistic than 'oh look i'm in love with the man who raped my sister, how romantic it's just like Romeo and Juliet just more disturbing and disgusting'. People who moan that they have been paired up with each other because they are both good looking in a way have answered their on grieviance as good looking people usually do end up together.

All in all Jack and Martha all the way, Kirsty and Kane are none starters, why they are remotely popular is beyond me.

I kind of agree with you on the Kane and Dani thing, but on the other hand, as we learnt more about Kane's past I actually started to forgive him.

Maybe because you understand him a little bit better. Not sure if you have it, but here we have this phrase "My father hits my mother, my mother hits me and that's why I hit you" if you know what I mean?

I'm not saying Kane couldn't help what he did, but he was kind of a forgive-but-not-forget case for me :)
