There seems to be a new thread made each day to celebrate people's birthdays. Although it's great that people are being so supportive and friendly, i think one big thread would be better, easier to keep track of the posts, or a lot of the threads will be deemed unnecessary.

So Happy Birthday for Marie, who is 19 today.

Well the only reason i opened it and called it birthdays, is because people seemed to be ignoring the celebrating thread. I go on here and everyday there are new threads, 'happy birthday to ...' whatever.

I seems a bit pointless, so i thought this would be a bit more obvious. Feel free to close the thread, just please merge all the others!!

I think it's a good idea to have a separate birthday thread, so we'll leave this one open and hope people use it!

I think part of the problem is that there is only so many peoples birthdays we celebrate, most of them are members 99% of the board don't even know, and by the time the next big day comes along, this will be on page 3.

A few days ago somebody started a thread to celebrate the birthday of two members who I haven't seen post in a long while (if ever) and I doubt the topic starter had ever come across them.

I do think it was fitting to start a thread celebrating Si's birthday, however.
