Ok, you have your own thread now. We wont go there if you say outta here

what are you like 11 or something?!?

I only turned 12 in December, so you cant expect me to be soooooo mature and smart like you. As bareenfan said, I do show a lot more maturaty than some of the "older" members on this forum (and im not afraid to admit that).

It is a rule that you should respect the age of members on here and watch what you post, but no one takes interest in that rule, do they? It appears the only rule that most people listen to is the SPAG one. As a 12 year old, I suppose you can just imagine how fun is it to come on here and read about boobs and lesbians..NOT!

Completely agree. Does anyone else find that when men are sick they're the worst patients? Like if they have a cold, its flu, if they have a stomach ache its appendicitis, if they've got a headache its a brain tumour and they milk it for days. It might just be me but my Dad, the guy I'm seeing and my best friend who's a bloke are all like that! Sorry, I'm probably going to offend a lot of people by saying that, I'll just disappear for an hour or two.

Be careful when you say that I had stomach cramps and unknowingly I said that I had appendicitis(sp). Everyone laughed at me thought me silly. (what i actually meant to say was pendicitis)(yeah i was 11 at the time lol) Anyways, Dr came out and went yeah looks like its appendicitis - that night i was on the operating table.

Anyways I dont know where you lot come from, Any slight sniffle and i know of many women who take the day off work leaving us short staffed.

I think the difference is that when women get ill, we get on with things. Even if I do take a sick day, I usually use it to do all the cleaning/shopping/assignments and other things that need doing. When men get ill, in my experience, they feel the need to keep reminding you. They need constant sympathy about how they are "dying" and are incapable of even washing up a mug.

I may be letting the side down here, but when I'm ill I moan! A lot!

I didn't really learn any of it at school growing up either, i took English Language at AS level and was like 'oh that's an adverb'! It's my favourite subject now, really interesting.

xx

As you were all talking about the English language. I have a 15 yr old step daughter that stays with us on the weekends. And she usually leaves her books at her mum's house, but over the half term when she stayed with us. I looked at her school work. I could not believe my eyes, all her English work was actually written in txt. She explained that her school does not mind this, as they think that they get more work out of the students, by allowing them to continue. I went NUTS. I payed a visit to her school, and my concerns fell on deaf ears, i approached her mum, she told me that it did'nt bother her, so what is my problem.

We will soon see when she fails her exams, who was right. Because they won't allow this.:unsure:

I hold very little respect for my school's English department (the teaching is poor), but they certainly don't allow that!
