hug.gif For whoever is having a **** period this month and every month. I'm on Tranexamic Acid(Cyklokapron)500mg, Two tablets Three times a day for 3 to 4 days during heavy bleeding. I can't take ibuprofen etc, as I have asthma and if I took them I'd start to wheeze. So I have my trusty hot water bottle and painkillers I can take....

I take Tranexamic Acid aswell, Di.

Out of interest, do you take anti-depressants? The doctor was going to give me a far more common drug to reduce bleeding but wouldn't because I take anti-depressants (for anxiety, not depression) and the combination would have increased the blood flow.

I was like that for a week, Jess.

I've been agony since last Monday with cramps, back ache and a bloated tummy, but I only started yesterday.

Yes Liz I take fluoxtine (prozac) the only thing is I have to take extra epilepsy meds due to the fluoxtine (prozac) Tom knows when I'm due on as I get snappy with him. I crave chocolate when I due and is on a period. Tranexamic Acid just takes the heavy bleeding away, I have to still take tons of pain relief aswell.

hug.gif for Jess and Liz hope you feel ok soon. Men : evil glare smile: they get it so easy don't they
