It sucks being in hospital, not seeing friends for ages, then coming out and getting really patronising comments about what you 'can and can't do' and how you should 'take it easy'. Grrrr! I hope you feel better soon, it sucks not having legs that work properly, people think that it means that nothing else (ie brain and arms) works properly either!

I just hacked the DVD in the living room so it's region free and was about to put Latter Days on.

Then I remembered that sisters boyfriend may come in when he drops her off here.

Knowing my luck, I'll get visitors right on the Hot!Gay!Sex scene.

I broke up with Kieran.

We got in another huge fight, like we do every day, and I just said "I don't think this is working any more." And he said, "Me neither." And we talked about it and decided to end it.

It was actually a really easy break-up, not acrimonious. Basically, we had been together for about 8 months, and I just felt like for half that time the whole relationship was a struggle. We were having to work on it so much, and it hasn't felt right for a long time, and that's not what I want. I don't want to be fighting all the time, I don't need to be upset all the time.

We are going to give it some time and then see about being friends, because he is a good guy and I do love him in that way. I just don't think we should be boyfriend and girlfriend.

I'm OK about it though, just a little blue. Spent the day with my best friend up here and she helped me, and have talked to my best best friends on the phone so I'm OK. It is definitely for the best.

Might be time to buy that Rabbit now though.

Yeah. I am fine about it, he wasn't my first boyfriend, we hadn't been together that long and it had been bad for ages and ages. I will miss him, but not the fights. Now I can be single again, which I love anyway!
