Guevara01 Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Single is only good if it comes with a time limit. Saw the guy i really like today you'd think i'd be happy about that. xxx
Emma_B Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Aww. I hate when you like someone for ages and ages and nothing happens. *sends hugs and chocolate*
Guevara01 Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Aww. I hate when you like someone for ages and ages and nothing happens. *sends hugs and chocolate* yummm...takes! I am friends with the guy but i have the feeling he is uncomfotable with me for some reason. His friend is really arrogant but i am better friends with him! xxx
Liz Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 It can sometimes be worse when you are good friends with somebody who you really want to have so much more with, than if they don't know that you exist.
Emma_B Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Hmmm. That's difficult, Clare. My best friend fancies this guy in one of our French seminars. Well, I do too, he is HOT. We are mates with him, but he is petrified of us. Yesterday, at the end of the class Kirsty said "Em are you heading back home now" and I said yes, and Will said he was too. He lives a few blocks down from Kirsty. Then as we left the room, he suddenly walked away, really really fast. Like, ran away from us. THEN we caught up with him at the bus stop, and we were all chatting. The bus came, we got on, Kirsty headed to where there were loads of seat free, near the back, but he just sat down right at the front next to some random DRUNK, rather than sit by us, Then he ran away when we got off the bus too. He hates us, probably because we laugh too much, and also maybe because Kirsty broke into his flat and left a love note on his bedroom door. I don't understand it, though. That is perfectly normal behaviour! *looks away shiftily*

Gatecrashing the Girls Thread to say I know exactly what you mean, Liz. Been there more than once, and it ain't nice.
Emma_B Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 ^ I agree too. When you become their best friend and they moan on to you about the girls the like/are with and all you want to do is scream. And possibly jump on them.
Guevara01 Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 The thing about this guy is that we really are alike. We have the same sense of humour, watch the same programmes, i know we get on. But it's like he's mute sometimes. Like he can borrow my stuff and would rather talk to me than some of the guys in my class, and i actually pulled a spitball out of his hair once (didn't know what it was at the time i may add), but i just don't get it sometimes. I don't bite. xxx
TabbyCool Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Maybe he's just shy... or gay! Maybe he doesn't have much experience with girls and is scared at the thought of having a girlfriend, or maybe he is just too blind to realise that you like him. Clearly I don't know the answers because I've never met him, but one of the above might be true! Maybe you need to take matters into your own hands!
Emma_B Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Maybe he likes you and doesn't think you like him. Or doesn't want to say anything either way in case he ruins the friendship, so sometimes gets tongue-tied.
