katya Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Aww I love it when you just start going out with someone. There's so much excitement and butterflies and tingly feelings in places. Sigh. Enjoy it while it lasts!
Gypsy & Will Fan Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 I certainly well, I will enjoy every minute of it! I'm not going to make the same mistakes as before, if he doesn't like the shy me, then he can go and stick it where the sun don't shine! LOL! But he seems really lovely! And he looks bloody gorgeous!
katya Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Good for you. If you have to change to keep a man happy, he's not worth making happy. If that makes sense.
TabbyCool Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 My mam went out with a Greek guy called George, it's a really popular name over there, it would seem. I think he had about 3 friends who lived here who were also called George! lol In Greek I think it's spelled Giorgios, but it's pronounced Yorgos, the first G is pretty much silent. I think lots of foreign people use the English equivalent of their name when they come here, which is a bit odd really. I know it's technically the same name, but it sounds so different and must be strange having people call you by a different name! Anyway, I'm rambling now! Have a good date :-D

Gypsy & Will Fan Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 I'll try and have a good date! My mums taking me out tomorrow to buy a nice outfit! LOL! I think she's more excited than me and that's saying something!
TabbyCool Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 I'll try and have a good date! My mums taking me out tomorrow to buy a nice outfit! LOL! I think she's more excited than me and that's saying something! Aww, that's nice of her. Your mam sounds really nice and pretty cool too :-) When I was at school my friends all thought my mam was cool! I think it was because she was younger than their parents and she would pick us up from nightclubs at 2am when we were 16! lol
~Lynd~ Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 My parents are pretty cool.I was on the train with my dad a few years ago and made the mistake of telling him i thought the guard was good looking.Next thing i know he's saying to the guard,''excuse me my daughter thinks you're good looking''.I'm pulling him back in going dad shut up and the guy's standing there laughing and looking at me like i'm an idiot.

I think it was because she was younger than their parents and she would pick us up from nightclubs at 2am when we were 16! lol Both your Mums sound cool. My Mum never picks me up from anywhere, she never has but I always pick my little sister up from parties, she's only 16 and I worry about her getting taxis on her own and stuff. My Mum thinks its character building though and I guess it never did me any harm.
~Lynd~ Posted May 9, 2006 Report Posted May 9, 2006 I'd do that to if i had a car, lol.I used to just get a taxi home, and i wouldn't let parents pick me up how embarressing.I knew the taxi drivers though so it was safe and didn't look bad.
