I also really loved Playdays, I used to sing the theme tune all the time when I was little.

I have a fab CD in my car which is themetunes from loads of tv programmes I used to watch when I was a kid. It's got all the early ones like Button Moon, Postman Pat, Playdays etc and the later ones like Baywatch (the Hoff version of course) Captain Planet, the Poddington Peas, Gummy Bears etc. I love it...if i'm in a bad mood I just whack it on and it cheers me up straight away!

OMGosh....the Poddington Peas.....I'd forgotten all about them! And Playdays!!!! And Brum....he rocked! And Tots TV (the one with the French girl - 'I'm a Tot, je suis un Tot, Tilly, Tom and Tiny....we're the tots of Tots TV, Tots TV') OMGosh, I actually remember the words to the theme song!

The CD is fabulous! If I knew how to post songs online I'd do a copy for you. Captain Planet was my favourite. Kids TV today is nowhere near as good as it was when we were young!

I don't know either :S But I'm not even that old. that's the really scary thing! But today all we get is mindless things going 'eh-oh' and making other random noises! Grrr!

I really want to see all these shows back on TV, it makes me sad to think any kids I have will never get to watch them.
