Mez83 Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Good morning girls!! Firstly: A big yay for Penny!! I can't believe how much your confidence is growing!! Good on you! You'll be unstoppable soon! Jess: Do we get a description of the hot man?? Mmmm hot men.... I have to got to panel beaters and get quotes today. Some idiot hit my car when I was at work a couple of weeks ago. Grrrr. It was one of those 4 wheel drives we think. Although we'll never know because they decided not to leave a note!!
Gypsy & Will Fan Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 The bastards! Thanks for the words of confidence, my confidence is growing so much because of this board, in fact because of this thread! I've never really had many girls too talk to that aren't related so its nice to talk to on here. And in the UK Discussions thread you can't shut me up! I'm writing loads! LOL! I don't know if I make much sence. Oh and Frankie has a lot to do with my confidence booster too, she sent me a lovely PM yesterday saying what a fantastic writer I was, I was dead pleased and had to wake my mum up to tell her, which she wasn't too happy about. LOL!
MarMar Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 That's great, Penny! I'm working on my confidence as well.. Not going to well.
Emma_B Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Someone bashed into the side of my car last year. They were completely in the wrong. I was coming out of a side road and I had a green light, and they just came through their red light and smashed into my passenger door, then just drove on, without stopping. A few people stopped to help me, and one took down their licence plate, but it turned out the car had been stolen - they were joyriders! My poor little car was totalled, it was only an old banger and the repairs would have been more than the car was worth. Obviously I can't afford to run a car now I'm at Uni anyway, but I was going to keep mine at home for the holidays and stuff, but now I don't have one, as it wasn't worth the money. I can't get insured on my mum's either, as even to do it occasionally, just for when I'm at home, makes her whole cover way too expensive - partly because of her type of car, partly because of that bl**dy accident!!! It's so annoying!
Gypsy & Will Fan Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 I'm so sorry about your car Emma! Thanks Merc, I really help you get there Mer, if anyone deserves happiness its you!
MarMar Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 That's sweet, thanks. I am ok most days.. Ok enough to go to the store at least. It's not that I get an anxiety attack or something whenever I try to walk out the door, but I just can't get myself to muster the energy and will to actually do it... It's like that with school as well. Most of my absense (sp?) in high school was because I was too... tired.. to go (don't know what to call it, really). It's better now that I'm in uni. Less days with lectures, so I don't have to do something every day...
Emma_B Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Thanks Penny. I miss my little car... I bought it with my own money and everything I hope both you and Mar start feeling a lot better soon. I honestly can't imagine how difficult things must be for you.
