Pierced Musie Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 Jess: Do we get a description of the hot man?? Mmmm hot men.... He has a goofy smile and a lovely voice. That is all I can say I used to get really bad panic attacks when ever I went near a door, but last year I got a bit better, I got a job at a nursery and I was getting on ok, I made a fantastic friend Monica, she was like my mum, she LOVED Home and Away and all the soaps, but then one day, this new girl started and she started picking on me saying I was a slut because I used to have a laugh with this guy called Rob who used to work there. She used to undermine me, tell me how much food to put on my plate at lunch, told me to shut up I have nothing intresting to say. And bam my confidence went I had to leave my job, the only thing that made me happy, children and after that I couldn't leave the house without someone. But now! I'm getting better, my Dyspraxia is going ok, my walking is improving I hardly need my crutches unless I go somewhere really long. Last Thursday I was given an awesome prep talk by a woman (one of my many Aunts) who has the power to turn a mood right round. She can be serious one minute and cackling her heart out the next. We were talking about confidence and whether I am ready for the real world and she told me to hold my head up high and keep on saying 'F**k 'em. F**k 'em all'. She also told me that the worst that can happen is that I struggle but with that, I have the choice of getting back on track and getting there. The day after I got that advice, I achieved so much and it's carried into this week. If I hadn't had that talk, I wouldn't have asked to see the camera and then bought it and I wouldn't have given a warm smile to fit HMV guy, who in return gave me a beautiful smile. And I sure as hell wouldn't have communicated with others at Connexions. I was so in the zone yesterday, a new girl came to me with a problem on the Numeracy booklet she had to go through and I helped. That is a first for me. I have been suffering social phobia for... 5, going on 6 years and now it's my time. If I can shake off that then anyone can. So Penny, you go out there and you stamp your mark on the world. We can terrorize them together ;)
Gypsy & Will Fan Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 LOL! I like the sound of us terrorizing! LOL! I am just going to nip down the corner shop to get some milk for my cheerios! I'll need my crutches this morning though my legs aren't too good this morning. They don't seem to work, my mum had to get me out of bed this morning, it hasn't been like that for months! Edit: Nope milk will have to wait, my legs don't feel up to it!
~Lynd~ Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 I had a bit of a laugh today. The taxi driver asked me if the doctors couldn't fix my feet. When i said no he said have i tried chinese medicine.....I find it quite funny.People are either trying to get me into their religion or trying to get me to try wierd therapies.
Gypsy & Will Fan Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 LOL! Chinese medicene! LOL! When people see me on my crutches they always ask me how I broke my foot, they always look funny when I tell them I haven't got a broken foot.
MarMar Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 I think alternative medicine is great. It cured my allergies.
