Jess Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 I sometimes feel that the grades I get are the only thing that I have control over and so therefore want them to be perfect.... I've been called a 'perfectionist' before and egotistical, because I want to do well so badly. At my school at least, you get more respect (well, not repect, but kudos) amoungst your peers if you excel at something, or even better....everything. But even still, I have creeping self-doubt.

Emmadolly Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 There is a devil child at my work! He is one of the mainstream (i.e. non-disabled) kids and he is among our most violent. A recent fave of his is, in a fight, grabbing the other child's face, digging his nails in and pulling the flesh forwards, leaving huge, bleeding scratches. When we tell his parents, his mum will go, "Oh dear, darling, that's not very knid is it?". His dad will say, "Really? That's not like him? What did the other child do to you that made you do that darling?" AAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!! He is 9 years old, they other child is six. Let alone the fact that the other child is severely autistic!!!!!! His family is very rich, he and his sister are so spoiled. His dad got his money from making porn films. As i said in the previous post about my nephew, he also has a 4 year old brother, and the pair of them have such long nails. I am not kidding but i cut my children's nails every sunday. As their school monitors the length of a childs nails, if they are long you will have a letter home. I do agree with this as my nephews nails dont get clipped at all, they just break off. They are both scramers in the home and in school. My thick stupid sister in law asked me, how can i stop them scramming other kids, as they won't listen to me. It was such a easy answer, ' keep their nails short, and they can't scram and make other kids bleed'. As they both now they have a weapon to cause harm, and they do it as they are allowed to behave like this. What she does not realise is the germs, and dirt that lays underneath the nail. Total health risk, to her kids and other kids.
