MarMar Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 Having a quiet evening at home like me...? I don't know what to do tonight..
Liz Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 Hey, girlies. I went walking through sand dunes today, wearing the most inappropriate shoes imaginable. Hell, do my feet hurt.
Frankie Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 I am trying to decide what to have for tea....major decsion time...
MarMar Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 I find it utterly fascinating that you call it 'tea'. Do you actually drink tea, or is it more like.. "snack-time!"?
Liz Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 What I refer to as 'tea' is your evening meal. I certainly never drink tea at 'tea-time'!
Frankie Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 We drink tea sometimes...I think its a left over from when they used to have High Tea...and a dish of tea was part of the meal...If we eat later we have dinner...but if we eat early'ish its tea...it makes absolutely no sense...but we know what we mean...
MarMar Posted May 28, 2006 Report Posted May 28, 2006 That's what I mean. Here we call meals held around 6-7pm for "kveldsmat" (kveld=evening, mat=food).
