LOL, why? Although, I've found that although I too suck at pub quizzes, I'm a dab hand at Daily Mail crosswords - thats what I spent my entire holiday doing, anything to distract from revision, although I don't really know how much use the cryptic clues will be to me in my Geography exam on Monday!

I suck too. I went to a pub with some native UKers when I was in York, and they had all these weird English footbal questions. I was hopeless.

I'm devastated. I've always thought that I was really good with general knowledge, but it seems that when I'm sure I know the answer, I fail badly.

Be honest Mer , there has been loads of people telling you to have a chat with your GP, are you going to see them.

My GP is a cow. I have seen her once. Every time I book an appointment I get another doctor instead. I hate going to the doctor.

No, I haven't. I am so set in this way of life. It's like I've been living in a bubble of melancholia since early childhood. I remember thinking about and planning sucide when I was 8.

I know about sucide, you eather do it or you don't thats a quite blunt view i grant you.

There are circumstances that in the the way you feel like doing it , except empenty threats.

Suicidal people are either manic derpessed, or its drug realted depression, they in the end do it cause they feel no self worth in living.

A lot of people feel the need to say i want to end it when feeling down, we forget there is a difference between that and real suicidle, as normal they would already have made attemps.

Don't worry, I'm a 'native UKer' and I find all the football questions weird. I tell you, if I see one more St. George's flag because of the stupid World Cup I will scream!!! Who cares that Rooney has damaged some bone in his foot, and the Beckhams have thrown a half a million pound party and all the wives have flown here, there and everywhere! Grrrr!

You are clearly not happy at the moment, if you don't like your GP go and see another one, they are not monsters at all, only there to help you, not judge you. You tell strangers your problems on this board, but we can say nice caring words to you, but you will still wake up in the mornings with the same feelings. Go and have a chat to your GP. At the end of they day, it will not harm you at all to chat with him/her.

I could not care less about this World Cup mania. I don't even have a vague patriotic thought of "It would be nice to win". I honestly wouldn't care if we were disqualified in the first game.
