See ya Merc I don't drive.By the time i had all the adjustments done to the car it'd be pretty expensive.And the price of Petrol in Sydney at the moment is stupid,it's cheaper to get a taxi.Especially when i get them half price from the government,lol.
Jess Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 The price of petrol is daft....it went up to £1 a litre.....pathetic IMO....I just really need independence because I live in the middle of nowhere so taxis can't find our house without step-by-step instruction (and even then they get lost) and my parents are getting fed up of driving me here, there and everywhere - but they still make me pay for my own driving lessons!!

Jess Posted June 4, 2006 Report Posted June 4, 2006 I go to London quite a lot (my granparents have a house there) and the number of modes of transport available at any one time amazes me! But I find the Tube scary....I have really bad claustrophobia.....the two don't mix well LOL

Well, there are in the UK anyway, but most of the shops are still grossly unaccessible for wheelchairs. GRRRR! I don't know about taxis since I never really use them. Edit: I can't believe it, I'm today's Top Poster! Wow! Oh dear, I'm meant to be revising and I've managed to rack up over 80 posts...ooppps....
